➖ CAPITAL RAISE ➖   Adherium has announced a $8.37 million capital raising via a Placement and Non-Renounceable Entitlement Offer.    The Company has received firm commitments for a capital raising of up to $1.57 million before costs, by way of a placement of new shares to sophisticated and professional investors. The placement will be undertaken in two tranches with the second tranche including CEO and Director participation.    Adherium also proposes to undertake a fully underwritten non-renounceable entitlement offer of new shares and new options to eligible shareholders to raise up to $6.8 million before costs.    These funds will be used to fast track US commercialisation of Adherium’s Hailie® Smartinhaler® technology – with multiple FDA clearances and US reimbursement codes now in place.    Adherium CEO, Dr. Paul Mastoridis, said:     “Adherium is entering a defining phase in its commercial development. We are extending the reach and impact of our world-class respiratory health product portfolio within the US, the largest healthcare market in the world. Fosun, Treehill Launch Joint Investment Business to Fund Drugs Angling for US Market    Fosun Pharma USA Inc. and Treehill Partners have formed a collaboration to establish a joint investment platform, focusing on mid- to late-stage clinical programs aiming to enter the U.S. market, particularly in the biotech sector. The initiative, described as a "jointly operating vehicle," will initially concentrate on innovative cancer drugs to address funding challenges faced by biotech companies.     The partnership, set to provide funding for drug programs with the first tranche expected in 2024, aims to leverage the expertise of both companies to enhance the value of selected assets targeting unmet medical needs.     Fosun Pharma USA CEO Rong Yang emphasized the flexibility of the collaboration structure and its role in supporting the company's U.S. journey.
