Enabling UX specialists and putting them a strategic decision making position with the business side is very valuable and leads to increasing the chances of figuring out business values that are impacting positively the revenue stream for any organization. An interesting and clear example of enabling UX professionals is the SAUDI AIRLINES ✨🇸🇦 experience designers. Once I went through an experience of booking a flight, I have noticed that there are multiple options added to the seat selection step, amongst which is selecting a lady’s seat. Though it’s chargeable, it’s an added value to the Local citizens, males and females, who used to have some privacy during flights as well as it’s a revenue source for the business. I really appreciate these minds who give more considerations for the culture, traditions and the norms of the society. And a hat is raised high 🎩 to the UX designers and business developers who create such amazing products. ** Not and ad, just a documentation of the great customer experiences ✨🌷 #Saudia #UXdesign #Business_development #revenue_stream #Innovation #value_proposition

I’m glad to share with you that I was part of the UX/UI workshop presented by King Saud University Student Partnership Program - برنامج الشراكة الطلابية The most valuable lessons i learned from this workshop : - Without human interaction, UX design is meaningless, and a product's design process isn't complete if it can't fulfill its intended purpose. - UI acts as a link between people and technology, enabling effective, convenient, and user-friendly interactions with digital systems. I’m eager to expand my knowledge in this fascinating field!

🚀 Today, we are delighted to showcase Lorcan Looney's latest project from our UX Tree Mentorship Programme, focused on enhancing Ryanair - Europe's Favourite Airline's inflight ordering app feature! 🎢 The challenge: Improving the user experience of Ryanair's inflight menu app, which presented significant opportunities for UX improvement due to difficulties with the current inflight ordering process. Lorcan tackled this project with a comprehensive, user-centred approach: 👉 He conducted competitor analysis, online surveys, heuristic analysis, and usability testing to uncover key pain points and user needs. 👉 The research revealed that many users found the inflight ordering process cumbersome, with 40% dissatisfied with the current experience. Key areas for improvement included clearer menu options, streamlined ordering processes, and enhanced usability. 👉 Lorcan used iterative design, starting with paper prototypes and advancing to high-fidelity prototypes, incorporating user feedback at each stage. The final design featured a more intuitive interface, improved product selection, and enhanced overall usability. 👩🏫 Mentor: Elizabeth Burgess, UX Manager at Deloitte 🏆 Best Research Award Read the full case study 👇 Ryanair Labs https://lnkd.in/e-MMTXae #Ryanair #UXDesign #InflightOrdering #MobileApp #UXTree #DesignThinking

🎉 Excited to share that I've successfully completed the Digital Skills: User Experience (UX) and User Interface (UI) certification provided by Accenture! 🚀 This comprehensive program has equipped me with invaluable skills, including: 🔹 Prototyping: Learned how to create interactive prototypes that simulate the user experience, allowing for early testing and feedback before full-scale development. 🔹 Wireframing: Gained expertise in developing wireframes, which are essential for visualizing the basic structure and layout of a webpage or app. This step is crucial for planning the functionality and navigation of the user interface. 🔹 User Journey Mapping: Mastered the art of mapping out user journeys to understand and anticipate the various steps a user takes to achieve their goals. This helps in identifying pain points and opportunities for enhancing the user experience. 🔹 Usability Testing: Conducted usability tests to gather feedback from real users, ensuring that designs are intuitive and meet user needs. This iterative process is vital for refining and improving the overall user experience. 🔹 Information Architecture: Studied how to organize and structure content in a way that is both logical and user-friendly. Effective information architecture enhances navigation and helps users find what they need quickly and efficiently. I’m thrilled to apply these insights to create impactful, user-centered designs and enhance digital experiences. A big thank you to Accenture for this opportunity and to everyone who supported me along the way! #UserExperience #UserInterface #Prototyping #Wireframing #UserJourney #UsabilityTesting #InformationArchitecture #DigitalSkills #Accenture #UX #UI

I thoroughly enjoyed this review by Nick Babich as he masterfully dissected the user journey of booking accommodation on Bookings.com. This review has got my attention as I have just completed my UX Design Institute Case Study on Hotel bookings, delving deep into the world of hotel booking websites. Nick highlights a multitude of pain points in this masterclass review, but here's the beauty of UX design – it's not just about pointing out flaws, it's about fixing them and creating a seamless, user-centric experience. ✨ Nick's video wasn't just a critique, it was a treasure trove of potential improvements, like: 1. Improve Search Results Page: Simplyfy filter experience, prioritise information and minimise persuasive elements. Show users what they need first by eliminating unnecessary clutter and making filters relevant. 2. Visual clarity: A clean layout, consistent design language, and intuitive icons can transform the user journey from frustrating to delightful. 3. Frictionless booking: Streamline the process, consider progressive disclosure, be upfront about costs and make the checkout a breeze. No more last-minute surprises! Nick's video has reminded me of the immense power of UX design when considering an industry leader such as Bookings.com. It's not just about aesthetics, it's about understanding users, solving their problems, and making their lives easier. As I prepare for my UX design exam, I'm fired up and feeling ready to tackle new real-world challenges like these, creating experiences that are not just usable, but truly incredible. #UXdesign #NickBabich #userexperience #hotelbookings #uxcasestudy #alwayslearning #travelandtourism #designthinking https://lnkd.in/d-PaGiPR

Pretty much most UX consultant would agree that the best UX Research method would be Field study. For instance, in Enterprise UX observing the users in their own work area, reveals more insights which often overlooked such as their individual values that they hold tight to, team KPIs, internal fun moments, tensed situations, timing and routines and many more. We are in the era where we should emphasizing more on empathizing employee during UX studies to achieve better Employee Experience (EX). Great field study experience in Bintulu Integrated Facility - PETRONAS the insights are amazing and I am excited on the solutioning part. Soft skills are crucial for UX designers to effectively collaborate, communicate, and navigate the complex landscape of user experience. #softskills #uxdesign #uxdesigner
✨ Soft Skills are as important as technical skills ✨ ⚡️ As UX/UI designers, we often emphasise technical skills, but let's not overlook the power of soft skills. Empathy, communication, adaptability, collaboration, and active listening are vital in creating exceptional user experiences. 🏗️ Just as we refine our technical skills, working on soft skills is equally crucial. These skills enhance teamwork, foster innovation, and contribute to overall professional growth!
