#ASXNews Significant polymetallic mineralisation at Cumbre Coya Target, Picha Project, Peru Firetail Resources is pleased to provide an update on the maiden diamond drilling (DD) program at the Picha #Copper Project in Peru. Assay results have been received from the first drill hole at the Cumbre Coya target, 23PCCD0001, confirming mineralisation in the area. • Cumbre Coya Target: Drill hole 23PCCD0001 includes: • 15.5m @ 0.72% Cu, 130g/t Ag 1.92% Pb and 0.16% Zn from 3.25m including 1.70m @ 0.50% Cu, 500g/t Ag and 5.9% Pb from 9.6m and 2.75m @ 2.06% Cu from 14.15m • 3.2m @ 0.23% Cu from 111.1m • 1.45m @ 0.17% Cu, 15.5g/t Ag, 0.51% Pb and 0.19% Zn from 41.75m • Follow-up drillhole at Cumbre Coya target – Drillhole 23PCCD0002 completed to a depth of 341.4m, with visible secondary copper mineralisation in the form of malachite, chalcocite and azurite in veins and breccias between 63m and 102m. • Drilling of sixth drill hole in maiden #drilling program is now underway with three of the first five holes having intersected significant copper and silver mineralisation. #FTL’s Executive Chairman, Brett Grosvenor, commented: “What a great way to start the new year. Royal Road Minerals Ltd (TSX-V:RYR, OTC:RRDMF) announced that initial scout drilling, regional sampling and mapping at its Santo Domingo porphyry copper and gold project in Argentina has identified a promising mineralized system. The company said initial scout drilling has identified the depth potential at the El Arriero breccia-controlled, dyke-dominated, porphyry copper-molybdenum system and has highlighted the stark difference between El Arriero and the broader, surrounding copper-gold porphyry style mineralization. It said mapping and sampling confirmed that the broader copper-gold porphyry system is represented by variably exposed magnetite matrix breccias, quartz-magnetite veinlets and sheeted veinlets related to porphyry dykes. Rock chip samples returned up to 3.6% #copper and 86.8 grams per ton (g/t) #gold and channel samples returned best results of 20 metres at 1.2 g/t. Gander Gold Corp. (CSE:GAND) has unearthed what is described as a significant gold system at the Lizard Pond area of the Gander South project. The company, in a statement, said that each hole in recent drilling at Lizard Pond showed continuous gold mineralization from the surface, across the entire length of 65 meters (m). Highlight drill results exceeded 1 gram per tonne (g/t) – with 1.06 g/t gold (Au) over 13.7m and 1.48 g/t Au over 3.0m, both of which from the surface. The results align with the upper percentile values from the explorer’s prior soil and rock geochemistry studies. Chief executive Mark Scott described the company as “very pleased” with the significant results. “All three drillholes were consistently mineralized from top to bottom and two of the three had greater than 1 g/t Au occurring over significant widths immediately below the overburden cover,” Scott said in a statement. Recent diamond drill results at the Red Mountain #Copper-#Gold Project (100% owned by Xanadu Mines Ltd), particularly at Target 33 were highly encouraging, and warrant near term follow-up #drilling. #Exploration drilling at Target 33 centred upon extending the gold surface expression from previous drilling and trenching. Multiple broad zones of gold mineralisation were successfully intersected. This mineralisation is associated with the main east-west trending intrusive and some narrow higher-grade associated with cross cutting epithermal mineralisation. High-grade gold results, up to 67g/t Au intersected from the first hole in the diamond drilling program at our Trafalgar Prospect at the Golden Ridge Project. 3 intersections returned >1 ounce/tonne gold, with drilling confirming the continuity of multiple sub-parallel high-grade gold veins at Trafalgar. A second hole has been completed with further assays pending from the first and later holes.
