At IMPACT Initiatives, we recognize the critical role that United Nations OCHA plays in delivering the essential information and analysis that humanitarians need to respond effectively. We are proud to consider OCHA a key partner in our mission, in particular our joint work around the Multi Sectoral Needs Assessments enabled “once a year joint and independent needs assessments” to become a must in humanitarian crises in line with the Grand Bargain commitments.
Recently, we joined forces with other information management and analysis actors to outline key priorities for our collaboration with OCHA in the coming years. These priorities include enhancing leadership and coordination, establishing clear standards and guidelines, improving data platforms and integration, and advancing analytical capabilities, including the integration of climate data. Together, we are committed to enhancing our collective impact and ensuring that humanitarian responses are informed, timely, and effective.
