Professionally,  2023 was NOT my year: I got tough performance feedback and my professional confidence took a hit. The imposter syndrome I’d beat started creeping back up. In the thick of my struggle year, I decided to open up to my network of senior leaders and tell them what happened. Each of them asked the same question: Why didn’t you pull me in sooner? Within 5 minutes of me sharing my story, they were able to pinpoint exactly what I could’ve done differently to avoid the negative feedback. How differently could things have played out for me if I tapped on my network sooner? This was one of my inspirations behind creating The Colors of Her Success private networking community.
