In a recent interview, Steve DeWeese, our Vice President of Growth & Revenue at CareInsight, tackled some of the biggest challenges in personalized care. He highlighted how traditional risk models often rely on incomplete data, overlooking critical factors like genetic predispositions and social determinants of health. This can lead to gaps in care and missed opportunities for early intervention. To address these challenges, Steve discussed how our health3d.ai platform integrates a broad range of data sources—genetic sequences, medical histories, and socioeconomic factors—to build a comprehensive view of each individual's health. Combined with our careassistant.ai platform, care managers gain access to personalized risk assessments, empowering them to create more effective, tailored care strategies. What are your thoughts on the limitations of current care models? How do you handle incomplete data in your care management? https://lnkd.in/eNYUrF2E #HealthcareInnovation #PersonalizedCare #DataDrivenHealth #CareManagement #HealthTech

🚀 Another week, another insights report release from CommBank Health's Foresight special report series! Our newest release, "Patient Perspectives - Patient Experience Insights," delves into pivotal trends shaping the healthcare landscape. 🔍 Here's a overview of 3 key findings I found interesting: 1) Demand for Instant Reimbursements: Patients are becoming increasingly discerning about healthcare spending. Notably, almost 8 in 10 patients now expect Medicare and health insurance claims to be processed instantly. Delays in reimbursement are adding an extra layer of concern, driving the need for streamlined processes and real-time solutions. 2) Impact of Affordability Concerns: Affordability remains a significant barrier to healthcare access, leading to appointment no-shows. In the past year alone, a staggering 71% of patients have either postponed or canceled appointments. Factors contributing to this trend include rising costs, long wait times, inconvenient practice hours, and cumbersome booking procedures. 3) Rise of Artificial Intelligence (AI) in Healthcare: The potential of AI to revolutionize healthcare is immense, with opportunities for both providers and patients. However, its integration into healthcare delivery is still in early stages. While AI holds promise for driving efficiencies and enhancing patient experiences, there are evolving benefits and risks that necessitate careful consideration. 💬 Eager to delve deeper into these insights? Drop me a message to discuss how these findings are reshaping the healthcare landscape. Read the full report below #Healthcare #PatientExperience #AI #commbanklife

Health care provision is changing as more systems offer insurance, systems integrate with providers, and new provider types enter (#ai, #telehealth, #urgentcare). A lot of experimentation and churn (see CVS Health recent news, e.g.). This study in Journal of Political Economy Microeconomics helps us understand how #urgentcare is competing with traditional #hospitalsystems and changing #access to #healthcare in the process: https://lnkd.in/g2q5GeQG Thanks to Lorenzo Magnolfi, Corina Mommaerts, Natalia Serna, and Christopher Sullivan for the excellent research!

In understanding how to scale and drive value from GenAI it is always interesting to see that trust is a key recurring theme - especially in health care. In Deloitte's recent survey of 2,000 consumers, 66% see the potential of GenAI in enhancing health care accessibility and affordability yet only 37% of consumers are currently using the technology for health reasons. Building trust will be critical to fully harness this transformative technology and drive value in health care. A good read from my colleagues Bill Fera and Jennifer Sullivan https://lnkd.in/erKcRbbJ
