Let's talk about quality! Around 120 participants from 19 countries had traveled to Munich in order to share their best practices, have conversations, and build new networks at the Aerospace Engine Supplier Quality (*AESQ) Forum at MTU. In an age of increasing air travel, more technically ambitious products, and tight supply chains, a better and higher quality standard is essential. There is no room for error. That's why the industry is working on a common, cross-company quality standard for this, the AS13100, that has been introduced for all OEMs and throughout the entire supply chain. MTU was actively involved in developing the standard and has already finished implementing it. One thing is clear: When it comes to quality and safety, everyone needs to work together. *In AESQ, OEMs and suppliers from the engine industry have come together to help ensure stable supply chains with uniform processes and high quality standards. #AESQ #OEM #WeAreEngineExperts #Quality

⚠️ Euro NCAP releases 2023 Year in Numbers ⚠️ Today, Euro NCAP releases its annual Year in Numbers, which includes milestones for the organisation as well as some of the themes that emerged in the industry in 2023. The year saw massive and rapid changes, from the new revisions in the safety protocols of Euro NCAP to the addition of trucks and other heavy goods vehicles (HGVs) in the assessment programme. 🚚 "While ratings were fewer in 2023 than they were in 2022, it remained a busy period of innovative breakthroughs in Euro NCAP. We take pride in the new safety protocol updates, projects, and partnerships that emerged from Euro NCAP’s increased dedication to safety. In 2024, the programme will continue to serve as a global safety benchmark. #NCAP24, the Global NCAP World Congress in Munich, Germany from 23 – 24 April, will serve as a distinct manifestation of this dedication," states Dr. Michiel van Ratingen, Secretary General of Euro NCAP. 🚘 Review the full document here 👉 https://lnkd.in/eARrWrMH 🚗 Read the press release here 👉 https://lnkd.in/ecVeD3iB 🚗 #ncap #safety #forsafercars #howsafeisyourcar #forasaferfuture #saferroads #safety #rating #roadsafety #assessment #drivesafely #cars #safercars #safety #safetyratings #consumerprotection #electricvehicles #yearinnumbers #newratings #visionzero
