The public defender system is a crucial part of a fair and just legal system. As the prosecution side faces its own challenges, we need to ensure that everyone has access to a competent defense. Without a functioning public defender system, we cannot legitimately prosecute individuals. Let's work towards fixing this broken system and ensuring that justice is served for all. Walz, a teacher and U.S. Army veteran who served in the Korean War. Mr Walz spent a year teaching at the Foshan No 1 High School under a Harvard University volunteer programme. Walz's teaching background is a key part of his identity.
