It is crucial for employers to not only acknowledge this issue but also take action. Prioritising inclusion aligns seamlessly with business objectives. Pride Month has begun! 🌈 You see so many companies get the bad press for showing up & supporting during this month, which seems slightly unfair. We are working on some great new shows at Rivet360. What makes a podcast great? There are a lot of factors, including: 1) Passion. When there’s passion about the stories being told, then people put the extra time in to make sure everyone is getting the story right. 2) Planning. Like all other projects, setting up a show for success takes work. The planning part isn’t sexy, but it’s foundational. Really thinking through tone, audience, cadence, format, guests and music up front free you up to focus on the story arc of each episode later on. 3) Positioning. If you build it, they won’t come. You need to put the show in front of the listeners it’s intended for. Make it easy for them. Connor Whitley has been a dream client. He loves the subject matter of the show and is excited about all the voices we’re platforming. I think he actually does find the planning sexy! And he’s partnering with his marketing team to leverage all of Senior Planet’s comms channels.
