Kent Cavender-Bares CEO of Rowbot Systems (strong collaboration with Carnegie Robotics) presented the use of smaller robots (compared to large ag equipment) for late phase corn nitrogen application and cover crop broadcasting. Close to the focus of Balanced Engineering LLC, Kent presented the importance of safety as a critical success theme, together with the focus on large ag, challenges to adoption, business models, etc. This is part of the first day of the Ag and Robotics Summit organized by Innovation Works Pittsburgh Robotics Network Robotics Factory and FIRA - World Ag Robotics Forum.
