🚳 Campagnolo out of Worldtour! In 2024, no top-tier cycling team will ride on a groupset by the Italian brand. Only the Professional Bardiani team will be equipped by Campagnolo ⛔ It's a pity for the Italian bike industry? Sure! ❓ Is it going to be a problem for Campagnolo? In my opinion... no, the opposite! ⁉ Why? Because not even two victories in a row at the Tour de France with Tadej Pogacar look have boosted the Italian brand in the road racing bike market. In the meantime, the gravel groupset Ekar did. Obviously, the brand is no longer linked to the professional road cycling it used to be in the last seven decades. And the road market is driven by OEM equipment, where Campagnolo's presence is almost zero. In my opinion, leaving Worldtour as a sponsor, they can address more money to develop new products, i.e. a gravel groupset that is more afforfdable or a wireless electronic one. In Italy, we say, it is just a door shut behind you, but a portal opens in front of you! 💪 Go Campagnolo, go! ⁉And what do you think, is this a defeat for the brand from the Italian city of Vicenza or the beginning of a new era? #cycling #bikeindustry #marketing
