Starting a new year will be meaningless, if our mindset is not changed. We will find ourselves in the corridors of doing the same things we were doing in 2023. We will fail the same way we failed in 2023. We will be trapped by the same trap that trapped us in 2023. We will be going around the way we did in 2023. For us to experience the power and inherit what 2024 has for us, we need to reflect on how we lived in 2023. What made us fail in that manner? Why didn't we reach our goal? Did we use all the potential and opportunities that God gave us to our own advantages? Were we fruitful and productive in fulfilling God's mandate upon our lives? Why did we fail?. Then as we are in this new year, we change our mind and reposition ourselves for our own good. For some of us, we need to change the way we perceive things. Disconnect ourselves from other friendships and association. Connect ourselves to the right people/association. Change the way we do other things. Embrace the new way of doing things and trust God for excellent results. Remember time is a precious gift from the Lord. He has given us another year so that we use it and be fruitful. Don't use time to rebel against God who is the owner of time. Don't use time to make others suffer, for what you sow, you shall reap. May the Lord God open our eyes and give us wisdom and understanding for us to be productive and fruitful in 2024. May the Love of the father, the Grace of our Lord Jesus Christ and the Fellowship of the Holy spirit be upon you all. From Pastor Dan

However, when we fear the Lord and shun evil, acknowledging His sovereignty and holiness, we position ourselves to receive His wisdom and guidance in our lives. True wisdom begins with a healthy reverence for God and acknowledging His infinite wisdom and knowledge. It involves recognizing our own limitations and dependence on Him, humbly submitting to His will, and seeking His guidance in all things. As we cultivate a heart of reverent humility, we open ourselves up to the transformative power of God's wisdom in our lives. Therefore, let us heed Proverbs 3:7 and embrace a posture of reverent humility in seeking God's wisdom. May we fear the Lord and shun evil, trusting in His wisdom above our own understanding and allowing His guidance to lead us in paths of righteousness. Amen🙏

In whatsoever you do always disregard any suggestion and dilute any desire to live a life that is fake just because you want to impress people. Many people have attracted frustration to themselves because they wanted to impress people so they blended to the tune of living a kind of life that is void of originality. Living a life that really counts and attracts divine appraisal entails living a kind of life that is not just after impressing people by expressing a life of divine purpose, passion and persistence. Don't adjust your life to the standard of others because you want their commendation but rather diligently align yourself to live the kind of life God has destined you to live. Refuse to allow what people say to sway you away from living the God-kind of life. Jesus Christ our perfect example modelled a kind of life that was not just concerned about impressing people but ultimately expressing the Godlike nature consistently. That is why we have been mandated by God to live for Him if we must fulfill His purposes for our lives. Repeat after me: "I will stay with Jesus, no matter what!"⁠ ⁠ When the going gets tough, remember who is in control. It is often in our weakest moments that we find our greatest strength. As a pastor or church leader, the journey of faith and leadership is riddled with challenges, but I want to encourage you to keep persevering.⁠ ⁠ Starting this journey does not ensure a smooth path, but it does guarantee divine guidance. There will be times when your hands feel heavy, and your knees grow weak, but remember that the same God who helped start this journey will help finish it. He will strengthen you and equip you with the fortitude to keep going forward.⁠ ⁠ Your commitment to stay with Jesus, no matter the circumstances, is a testament to your faith and determination. When you made the decision to lead and serve in God's kingdom, you stepped onto the battlefield between light and darkness. There will be times when darkness attempts to dim the light within you, but take heart in knowing that darkness will TRY, but it will not SUCCEED.⁠ ⁠ The challenges and trials you face are not indicative of being outside of God's plan; they are part of the journey. These moments reveal the weaknesses in your armor, allowing you to grow in faith and resilience. God uses every attack to strengthen you and show Himself powerful in your life.⁠ ⁠ While the battles may be fierce, you never fight alone. The Lord fights alongside you, and the outcome of the battle is in His hands. So walk with peace, knowing that your trust in Him will see you through.⁠ ⁠ Stay steadfast, encourage your congregation to hold fast, and keep the faith burning bright. The journey may be arduous, but the victory is assured. In Matthew 14:22-33 we read about the time Jesus walked on water. This miraculous early moment event was not an isolated incident but rather a testament to the extraordinary nature of His awesome ministry. That being said, this particular story also serves as a powerful reminder of Jesus divinity, authority, and the importance of unwavering faith. Through this miraculous event, Jesus revealed His authority and power over nature not to mention He teaches a valuable lessons about faith, trust, overcoming doubt and fear, while solidifying His role as the Son of God. If Peter was being interviewed today he would agree with these 3 takeaways from his very brief walk on water experience: 1. Keep Your Eyes On God: Just like Peter took his eyes off Jesus and focused on the storm around him, we often get distracted by the challenges we face in life. We need to remember to keep our focus on Christ during difficult times. 2. Trust In God’s Power: When Peter first stepped out of the boat onto the sea, he trusted in Jesus’ power. However, when he started sinking, he doubted that power. We need to have faith in God’s ability to help us through any situation. 3. Choose Between Belief And Doubt: The disciples witnessed firsthand both the power of belief (when Peter walked on water) and doubt (when he began sinking) while they were with Jesus Christ on the sea. We must choose whether we will believe or doubt God’s promises. My brothers and sisters, as we navigate the storms of life, I hope you find solace in Jesus’ example and draw strength from His unwavering and unfailing love. Lastly, don’t forget the true miracle is not us walking on water, rather it’s trusting in the One that did! #BeStrong #TGBTG #NAP #UnwaveringFaith
