The rationale behind my decision to pursue a military career: The military elevates the human race. When an intrinsically motivated student is given a high caliber education, immersed into the structured environment of the military, and exposed to the values and skills (i.e. second-level thinking, forward looking, contemplative thinking, strategic planning, etc.) that the military instills within its service members, the product is one of the most refined, educated, and productive members of society. The military will further refine me; however, this is not a singular transaction. This is a mutual transaction as I will return to the civilian workforce, integrating the skills/values newly acquired during my time as a USA Army Officer, and apply them to a business setting, and an empire we will build.
