Psstt…. Overcrowded Classrooms Can Be A Potential Goldmine The stats in the picture are related to South African Schools and Universities but the picture isn’t exactly pretty for many countries across the globe. The student-to-teacher ratio for several countries look like this: 18:1 - France 14:1 - Spain 16:1 - Japan 20:1 - UK 16:1 - USA I am generally the ‘glass-half-full’ kinda person but, Imagine trying to manage that many students! Solution: A smart Learning Management System Sounds simple right? Yet so powerful! With a smart learning management system, you can easily track student progress, personalize lessons, and maximize learning outcomes without increasing your workload. Since the pandemic hit, most organisations and people have had to adapt the way they work, and that should be seen as a positive. As a result however, hybrid and remote working has meant training and development together, in teams becomes difficult. How easy is it to get everyone together for a training day? Factor in any specific learning needs individuals may have, and this is increasingly challenging. That's why online micro-learning works, and with the added benefit of gamification... move away from traditional group training and e-learning and take account for individuals needs and time pressures and maximise learning and engagement Don't believe us then consider some of these studies... Göschlberger and Bruck (2017) found that for 175 employees over a period of 7 months, a large increase in learning activity, flexible learning times and engagement. More recently, in 2021, Septiani and Rosmansyah found in their systematic literature review of 20 articles "Gamified micro-learning platforms in the learning process increased motivation and engaged learners. It also motivated them to voluntarily contribute to learning and supporting gamified micro-learning because of its fun environment." We believe this is the future of workplace learning, so get in touch to discuss how we can help.
