PFRO pushes RO recovery rate to the optimum

The EPA’s National Priority Sites List allows the EPA to target its enforcement effort at the poorest performing sites with a view to improving environmental performance at these sites. The latest National Priority Sites list features three sites from the Food & Drink, the Anaerobic Digestion and the Wood, Paper, Textiles & Leather Sectors. We Make Room for the Rain. All but a few of Flood Management Master Plans encompass Nature Based Solutions. Many, just literally function as a get it of my desk, there is an election around the corner, dump it on my downstream neighbors as quickly and cheaply as possible. Now, it's their problem !! At best inbuilt into many solutions is get it into the sea, lake, river system ASAP. This contributes to sea level rise, dehydration of soils and ground water depletion to name only a few?

💧 The Global Commission on the #EconomicsOfWater released its long-awaited report last week, which presents a new vision for valuing the water cycle as a global common good. "The water cycle must ... be governed as a global common good: recognising, first, our interdependence through both blue and green water flows; second, the wicked interaction between the water crisis, climate change, and the loss of the planet’s natural capital; and third, how water flows through all our 17 SDGs. A destabilised water cycle is a large-scale collective and systemic problem, which can only be fixed through concerted action in every country and collaboration across boundaries and cultures." 🌐

This might include: building partnerships; approaches to research procurement and financing models; capacity of governments industry and community to lead innovation; research management skills ... and all the things that make an innovative sector.
