Underserved areas of Pickens County will soon get access to high-speed internet through Upcountry Fiber, a broadband partnership between BLUE RIDGE ELECTRIC COOPERATIVE INC and WCFIBER. The project will extend Upcountry Fiber’s broadband service – which reaches blazing-fast speeds of up to 10 gigabits per second – to approximately 7,700 more Upstate households and businesses by the end of 2025.
