📣I have been passionately advocating "it's not just paint" for the last few years! When I was Regional Sales Manager at Rapid Prep - I had “Rust Never Sleeps” along the back window of my truck (Yes I know all about the song- but RP engrained it into my eyes & heart 😍) I became obsessed with the fight for the industry when I saw fabrication exploding and coatings / corrosion control falling farther away but a major influx of fabrication that would need coatings protection was coming and we needed a proactive solution. 🙋🏼♀️ For me, it’s simple to understand, corrosion is a critical issue that impacts the integrity and longevity of our military assets. For many, the severity of rust and decay becomes clear only through our conversations and demonstrations. This understanding is crucial as we support the development and maintenance of the next generation of nuclear submarines and other vital defense assets. I am immensely grateful for the dedicated efforts of the team at the Submarine Industrial Base. Your hard work lays the foundation for both today's maintenance and tomorrow's advancements in naval technology. We are convening a pivotal meeting that will unite the AMPP: Association for Materials Protection and Performance , the US Navy Submarine Industrial Base with Matthew Zirkle and the Matitime Coatings & Corrosion Control Contractors. Our goal is to discuss our mutual needs and how we can support each other in strengthening America's defense industry, particularly in Hampton Roads—the heart of the @US Navy's shipbuilding and maintenance sector. This effort extends beyond submarines—it encompasses the entire US Navy Fleet, United States Air Force United States Marine Corps US Army U.S. Coast Guard - who make up our Defense Industrial Base 🇺🇸 Together, we form a unified Defense Industrial Base dedicated to protecting our American freedom. As Americans, we have a responsibility to honor and contribute to the freedoms we enjoy. We cannot afford to operate in silos; we must unite as one cohesive team within the Maritime Coatings Industry to foster growth and enhance our collective strength.
