The US Navy’s hi-tech war trimarans are finally going up against China The Chinese navy, currently the biggest in the world by count of warships, just keeps growing. Meanwhile the US Navy – the world’s second most numerous fleet – is struggling to grow at all, to say nothing of getting bigger fast enough to keep pace with the Chinese fleet. Littoral Combat Ship Independence (LCS 2) during trials. LCSs are now forward deployed in the...

I often share videos highlighting the incredible work the US Navy and other naval forces accomplish globally, showcasing their dedication and their positive impact worldwide. However, an aspect of their service is often overlooked: the inherent dangers of even routine training exercises. To bring this point home, I wanted to highlight an incident involving an SM-2 Missile launch failure aboard the German frigate FGS Sachsen. A similar mishap occurred a few years earlier on the USS The Sullivans (DDG-68). Fortunately, these incidents resulted in no injuries, a testament to the rigorous safety protocols and professionalism of naval personnel. Yet, they serve as a stark reminder of the risks our service members face, even during what might be considered ordinary training exercises near their homeport. So, the next time you meet a military service member, remember to extend your gratitude for their service. Whether on duty in distant waters or training near shore, their commitment to defend us carries inherent risks. Let's acknowledge and appreciate their bravery and the sacrifices they make to ensure our security and uphold peace worldwide. https://lnkd.in/ew8Jq99h Interesting video that discusses ADM Caudle, Fleet Forces Command moving in a period of high OPTEMPO, from the Fleet Response Plan to a "Plug and Play" of Individual Surface Combatants in a Carrier Strike Group. With a "300 Ship Navy" it would allow 100 in operational tasking, 100 in planned maintenance, and 100 in training and certification. Not a lot of margin of error for Surge Operations. During the GWOT we departed from a balanced Forward Deployed Naval Forces model and decommissioned several hulls over time.

Advocate for a globally competitive #AUSTRALIANFUSIONENERGYINDUSTRY with strategic communications expertise.
Best invest in Building Fusion power, space, and maritime propulsion systems and industry, You talk about Nuclear (meaning Fission) and fail to discuss fusion. https://lnkd.in/ge_aeX7M The nuclear fission industry is, ignorant of what's happening around you. Pull your uranium heads out, start adjusting your industry to fusion energy and start preparing to enter the commercially growing fusion energy industry. As it dawns on Earth like the sun. Great Headline Guardian on Nuclear fission. https://lnkd.in/g8sMZtpR Fission is moving towards obsolescence at an accelerated pace, as it is "out of step, out of time, out of place," and merely a temporary industry globally. https://lnkd.in/gbd_mZqk Commercial fusion electrical generation is a promising innovative sustainable and clean energy method. By 2028, Helion is expected to start producing electricity from its first fusion commercial power plant, which will provide electricity to Microsoft. The plant will produce at least 50 MWe after an initial ramp-up period. https://lnkd.in/gY9J3MQY Now see what is happening in the Fusion industry in the world. https://lnkd.in/g9hMBD7a As fission trebles, fuel shortage is increasingly real, https://lnkd.in/gze5rwpr

When it comes to the debate of which is harder, Navy SEALs or Special Forces, the answer isn't so clear-cut. Both elite units undergo rigorous training and excel in different skill sets. Navy SEALs are known for their maritime operations and have a reputation for being the most highly trained special operations force in the world. They are designed for missions such as direct action, special reconnaissance, and unconventional warfare. On the other hand, Special Forces, also known as Green Berets, are experts in unconventional warfare and foreign internal defense. They work closely with indigenous forces to achieve their objectives. While Navy SEALs are suited for high-risk combat missions, Special Forces are trained to work in a variety of environments and cultures to achieve long-term strategic goals. In conclusion, both Navy SEALs and Special Forces have unique skill sets and missions they are suited for. The difficulty of each unit depends on the individual's strengths and the task at hand. #NavySEALs #SpecialForces #EliteForces #MilitaryOps #usarmy #usnavy #irregularwarefare #military #intelligence #pentagon https://lnkd.in/eQdW9BUk

It is crucial for youth to consider factors like lifestyle preferences, job stability, job security, patriotism, career goals, commitment to maritime security and most importantly personal interest when deciding between the two. Understanding personal aspirations and values is key in making this important career choice. However, some personnel are ended up in either of the side with out any prior knowledge.
