Here are the 🚨key takeaways🚨 I was excited to learn about: 1️⃣ Intelligent Ask Amounts. It allows the vast data set of both Classy and GoFundMe to be used for good, bringing intelligent asks that are personalized to each donor and optimizing the giving experience. On average, organizations saw an 11% lift in fundraising. Do I need to say more? 2️⃣ Supporter Insights. Predictive analytics can help understand the likelihood of a constituent taking a specific action, such as becoming a P2P fundraiser or major donor. 3️⃣ Giving Cart. Leading-edge technology allows donors to select multiple donation opportunities AND have a single transaction at checkout. Being a Board Member 3 years ago Jacob Martinez Founder of Digital NEST approached me and asked me to be a Board Member of the Digital NEST. Digital Nest is a non-profit that gives up-and-coming youth and young adults, primarily from agricultural areas a place to go and learn skills to break cycles of working in the fields. Most of these kids are the first in their families to do this, so spaces like this are critical but entering office environments are unfamiliar and can be scary! Digital Nest helps with that. Where was this place when I was growing up! The words BOARD MEMBER sounded scary too. I thought "Board Member" meant fancy suits, fancy schools, philosopher vocabulary - who was I to join a board? Jacob said, its YOU we need you. They needed someone that represented the child they were trying to help. They needed someone in an environment they work to get kids to. It was me. I have no fancy suit, I didn't come from a fancy school but I do get a little philisophical now and then in my speeches with the board 😜 Jacob, I want to thank you for making it easy for me to say YES another 3 years. As many of us first generation professional enter the world of offices, away from fields and toilets. I want you to say YES. Like I say to anyone asked to an interview ... if you are being asked its because they want you already. Now we just see if all jells well.
