Does your boss know it's employee appreciation day today? If so, what lies in store for you today? A little thank you card, some words of affirmation, a gift? Sounds wonderful right, but if you're having to wait for appreciation once a year, we're betting it makes the rest of the working year a hard slog! So how can employers appreciate their people all year round? 💚 recognition programs are a great way of getting the whole business involved, peer nominated schemes with a manager rubber stamp provide an opportunity for everyone to have a say and ensure the right things are being celebrated, like your green ambitions 💚 make it ‘the way we do things around here’ simply saying thanks, dropping someone a personalised note, giving them a call out the blue just to offer appreciation for a specific event or task can mean the world. It starts at the top, watch you’re CEO initiate this and the rest of the business will follow 💚use your existing communication channels to celebrate great people; team meetings are good for shout outs, newsletters provide opportunities to highlight successes and social media tags all give you endless ways of reaching your people, no matter their role 💚think about the person, some people LOVE the limelight and will be excited for their name being mentioned in a town hall briefing, others not so much, so personalise the appreciation in a way you know they’ll enjoy it How does your business appreciate your people? Let us know in the comments! #greeneconomy #attraction #purposeled #candidateexperience #onboarding #recycle

"Businesses can’t thrive unless the communities they serve and the people they employ thrive as well." — Jamie Dimon As we gear up for Employee Appreciation Week, let’s take a moment to reflect on the dedication, hard work, and passion each of us brings to the table. This week is a special reminder to celebrate our collective efforts, but it’s important to remember that appreciation shouldn’t just be reserved for one week. Every day, we contribute to something greater, tackling challenges, achieving goals, and supporting one another. Let’s carry that spirit of gratitude forward, celebrating not just what we do, but who we are—today, tomorrow, and always. Together, we are the driving force behind this organization! #employeeappreciationweek #gratefulteam #celebrateemployees #employeerecognition #teamworkmakesthedreamwork #powerofappreciation

I'm a little late on this considering Employee Appreciation Day was last Friday, March 1st. I've had a few things I needed to say since then. Reminds me of the one day dedicated to customers in October. 😆 Oh well, let's move on, shall we?! The point I wanted to make today is how imperative it is to clearly communicate boundaries to your workforce. It doesn't matter if you're a highly conservative bank, a luxury hotel that has $2K budgets to address a situation, or a small business. You must provide your teams with Hardlines, Guidelines & No Lines. What are these? "Hardlines" are the non-negotiables; the things your workforce can or cannot do because of your brand, regulation, etc. These should be aligned to your company's values and show up in everything they and your customers see. "Guidelines" are best practices and recommendations. They're meant to be guardrails. As long as your workforce stays in the lane, everything works out. They're proven and they're norms in your company. "No Lines" are the situations where you simply ask your workforce to ”do the right thing.” Don't focus on being right per some policy, focus on doing right. As a leader in your company, your goal should be: 1) Provide your team members with as much insight (continuity of knowledge, detail on customer transactions, preferences, etc.) as possible so they are enabled to do the right thing. 2) Empower your team with the authority to do that right thing based on the Hardlines, Guidelines, and No Lines. Oh, and it’s one thing to say your team members are empowered, but yet another to actually give them to tools and then trust them to make the right call. It's also completely another thing to have their back no matter the call made. No team member should feel like they're on an island. They need to feel like someone has their back, no matter the situation. What are some examples of Hardlines, Guidelines, and No Lines in your company? #customerexperience #employeeengagement #empowerment #values

A majority of my LinkedIn feed nowadays is filled with posts from friends, former colleagues and acquaintances about celebrating the monthly “Employee Recognition Day” at their respective workplaces. 🎊 Now what’s common in amongst all these posts is the ppt presentation in the background displaying a badge to the employee marking them as “STAR Employee” or “Best performer of the month” or a digital certificate stating the same. 🙄 Firstly, it’s a great initiative when organisations decide to recognise employees that out perform! 👏 But why are we still doing (only)ppt slides to showcase recognition for our star employees? Let’s go a little above and beyond for the employees who go above and beyond for our organisations! 🌟 Thoughtfully curated tangible gift hampers make all the sense, to celebrate your top performers!🎁🎁 Connect with us at boxeddco to explore Employee Recognition gifts that just make sense;)⬇️ 📞+91-8097609524 📩boxedd.coteam@gmail.com #employeeofthemonth #empliyeerecognition #rewardsandrecongitions #rnr

🌟✨ Feeling the FOMO: Reflecting on Company Culture and Employee Appreciation ✨🎉 As I scroll through my LinkedIn timeline, I can't help but notice the abundance of posts celebrating annual iftar dinners, Eid gifts, and employee appreciation events. It's heartwarming to see organizations and companies going above and beyond to show gratitude and support for their teams. 🌙🎁 However, I can't shake off the feeling of sadness and disappointment when I realize that my own company hasn't taken similar initiatives. Why is that? Why aren't we prioritizing employee morale and well-being like others are? If your company has gone the extra mile to make employees feel valued and appreciated, I'd love to hear about it. Drop a line in the comments and share your company's shining moments of employee appreciation. Let's spread some positivity and inspiration! 💫 And to my fellow employees who resonate with this sentiment, remember that your worth is not determined by the perks and parties. Your contributions matter, and you deserve to feel appreciated every day. 💼💖 #EmployeeAppreciation #CompanyCulture #Gratitude #TeamEngagement #WorkPerks #FOMO #SpreadPositivity #ValuedEmployees

Employee Appreciation Day is coming up this Friday, March 1st. Why should you celebrate Employee Appreciation Day? Here are a few good reasons why: -When employees feel appreciated, there is an 84% decrease in the chance they will experience burnout -When companies celebrate together, employees are 20x more likely to feel connected and want to stay -It's the perfect opportunity for organizations to reach all employees, regardless of location, and create recognition experiences that are heartfelt, memorable and fun! It's not too late to organize something for this year. If you have a recognition program at your organization, use it! If you don't, think of a way to reach all employees with your sincerest thanks. Perhaps it's a company wide email with a small gift card for employees to get a coffee or a treat. Small gestures matter just as much as the big ones. Check out the article linked in my comments for ideas to get a head start for next year. Fun fact: I just received my employee appreciation day gift in the mail, and I LOVE it. I have a small obsession with beverage vessels and often have multiple on the go at once for coffee, water, smoothies etc. Thank you so much O.C. Tanner and the entire leadership team! #employeeappreciationday #recognition #appreciation #companyculture
