Does your boss know it's employee appreciation day today? If so, what lies in store for you today? A little thank you card, some words of affirmation, a gift? Sounds wonderful right, but if you're having to wait for appreciation once a year, we're betting it makes the rest of the working year a hard slog! So how can employers appreciate their people all year round? 💚 recognition programs are a great way of getting the whole business involved, peer nominated schemes with a manager rubber stamp provide an opportunity for everyone to have a say and ensure the right things are being celebrated, like your green ambitions 💚 make it ‘the way we do things around here’ simply saying thanks, dropping someone a personalised note, giving them a call out the blue just to offer appreciation for a specific event or task can mean the world. It starts at the top, watch you’re CEO initiate this and the rest of the business will follow 💚use your existing communication channels to celebrate great people; team meetings are good for shout outs, newsletters provide opportunities to highlight successes and social media tags all give you endless ways of reaching your people, no matter their role 💚think about the person, some people LOVE the limelight and will be excited for their name being mentioned in a town hall briefing, others not so much, so personalise the appreciation in a way you know they’ll enjoy it How does your business appreciate your people? Let us know in the comments! #greeneconomy #attraction #purposeled #candidateexperience #onboarding #recycle

It is National Employee Appreciation Day! Appreciation is so important in life, and I feel passionately that it should be shared daily. With that said, I also love a good celebration of appreciation. Throughout the month of March, our employees at Alignment Health are encouraged to show their appreciation to their teams and colleagues on our employee intranet site. Using the comments section, we are inviting all leaders to post a message of appreciation to their employees to recognize their hard work and value to the team. Employees can also post notes of recognition to their colleagues. I'll share below what I shared internally because the amazing work of my Corporate Communications team members deserves to be shouted from the rooftops. ⭐️ Alison Trinidad, RN: Coach Harbaugh often says, "Who's got it better than us? Nobody!" For you, I want to tailor the quote to say, "Who knows Alignment better than you? Nobody!" Your knowledge of the organization and its intricacies drive such value for us, not to mention your attention to detail that protects us each day. Janice Lee: Your strategic approach to life and work helps you serve up thoughtful questions that make everyone around you think. You make Alignment better every day by challenging us to think about things differently and do things differently. Erin Filimon: Your judicious approach to fairness in all things, but most importantly, communication, is so valuable. You constantly think about how to communicate things in an equitable way, and it makes the organization better. Cindy K.: You allowed us to maintain both public relations and social media communications in the past year. When there is a gap and we need someone to jump in, you do so with a great attitude and deliver results. Alina Kaiser: As the newest member of the team, you have jumped in and made an immediate impact. I'm so excited to see where our social media strategy goes this year and already love your innovative ideas and approach. I hope you'll take the time today to appreciate those around you at work. Have a great day! #EmployeeAppreciation #EmployeeAppreciationDay

🌟 Embracing the Power of Corporate Appreciation Gifts 🌟 In today's fast-paced corporate landscape, it's easy to get caught up in deadlines, targets, and bottom lines. However, one often overlooked aspect of fostering a positive work culture is the power of appreciation. 🙌 That's why we firmly believe in the importance of corporate appreciation gifts. 🎁 Whether it's a simple token of gratitude or a carefully curated package, these gestures go a long way in recognizing the hard work and dedication of your team members. Here's why I think they matter: 1️⃣ Boost Morale: A well-thought-out gift shows employees that their efforts are valued and appreciated, boosting morale and motivation. 2️⃣ Foster Loyalty: When employees feel appreciated, they are more likely to feel a sense of loyalty towards their company, leading to higher retention rates. 3️⃣ Build Stronger Relationships: Corporate gifts are not just about the material value; they symbolize a connection between the giver and the receiver, strengthening relationships within the team. 4️⃣ Drive Engagement: By recognizing and rewarding achievements, corporate gifts encourage continued engagement and productivity. 5️⃣ Enhance Brand Image: A company that prioritizes employee appreciation is seen as caring and compassionate, enhancing its brand image both internally and externally. At CST Sweets, we understand the importance of showing appreciation to our incredible team members. We want to help you do the same! 🎉 Remember, it's the little things that make a big difference in creating a positive and productive work environment. So, let's continue to spread appreciation and positivity one gift at a time! 💼✨ #EmployeeAppreciation #WorkCulture #TeamBuilding

🙏 National Employee Appreciation Day 🙏 This day serves as a poignant reminder to managers about the fundamental role of robust employer-employee relations in developing genuine business success. Cultivating a strong rapport with your team is a cornerstone of effective management, and demonstrating appreciation for their contributions can significantly enhance employee morale and satisfaction. Simple acts of acknowledgment, such as recognising hard work with a sincere smile 😄, kind word or offering small gestures of gratitude 🎁, can have a profound impact on fostering a positive workplace atmosphere. At Pragmatic Consulting Ltd, we are fortunate to embody this culture, thanks to the leadership of our Managing Director, Jo Niblett. Jo's commendations, verbal recognitions, seasonal celebrations, and spontaneous gestures of kindness are regularly witnessed by our staff, creating a reciprocal exchange of appreciation between management and employees. This month, our company enjoyed a memorable outing, treated to a delightful sit-down meal followed by a captivating theatre performance at the Birmingham Hippodrome, where we experienced the amazing Edward Scissorhands. The collective gratitude felt by all staff underscore the significance of such gestures of appreciation. 🎭 😍 Thanks again Jo! ❓Are you a manager? How are you going to leverage Employee Appreciation Day as an opportunity to strengthen connections with your team members. Whether through heartfelt gestures, special events, or sincere expressions of gratitude, let's make this day a meaningful celebration of our employees' dedication and hard work. We look forward to hearing about your creative ways of appreciating your team members. #pragmaticconsulting #dreamteam #employeeappreciationday #thankyou

Tomorrow is Employee Appreciation Day so stick a reminder in your diary so you don't forget to show your team some love 💝 But don't just show your appreciation tomorrow because social media tells you to. Here are some suggestions from Stress Matters' Founder Laura on how to show your team how thankful you are all year round... 🫂 I try to make sure everyone shows appreciation to each other rather than just me to them. 🙋 Our Because YOU matter moment - each team member votes on who they want to be recognised that month. 👍 I focus on creating a culture of trust and empathy. So everyone can take time off whenever they need and everyone is trusted to do their job with no micro-management ❤️️ Our Friday morning check-in meetings where we ask how everyone is doing on their to-do-list and if they need support generally becomes a bit of a team love-in as everyone builds each other up. 🎯 Monthly career conversations to focus on each team member's development so we recognise people's ambitions and challenges. 🤝 Encouragement to volunteer in work time for causes that are important to them. I know they're well-rounded people that can offer their skills in many different ways to different causes. What have you done recently to show your team you appreciate them? #employeeappreciationday #supportyourteam
