Senior Director, Total Rewards at Amneal Pharmaceuticals

Among the many things Amneal continues to evolve in and bring excellence to, the intern program is providing meaningful project work and learning experiences while giving the intern team opportunities to meet and directly interact with industry giants like Andy and Sean. Much lower on the totem pole, I had an opportunity to meet with our interns a couple of weeks back to explain a little bit about what Total Rewards does, give them some insights into how pay is determined, and offer some negotiation tips for their first post-grad position. Very importantly (a bit biased here...), I spent a good amount of time explaining the value & importance (again, a bit biased...) of a strong, holistic benefits design that supports all of the wonderful - and sometimes not so wonderful - situations that make up our life's journey. I also explained how they can use these programs' value proposition as a window into the type of organization/culture that they are likely to find as a full-time team member. I can proudly say that the Total Rewards team has built a leading package that is emblematic of the entrepreneurial, family-built spirit that lives on within Amneal today. It starts at the top, and we are blessed to have an executive leadership who believes in that investment just as much as we do. Just like other areas of Amneal, we see where we can do better to make healthy possible as we continue to grow & diversify. That goal gets us up every morning and keeps us going enthusiastically even when that work/life dance needs a little more on the work side. Hoping to see many of today's interns as full-time Amneal colleagues in the days to come!
