👢 New Boots, Genuine Care: The Heart of HR in Action 👢 Jesús Ordóñez Merlos, a senior HR leader (Talent Partner - Regional | Southeast SPW Region Resources), woke up at 4 AM yesterday to reach a construction site by 6 AM. His task: ensuring every worker received new, high-quality $200 boots. His day didn't end until after 8 PM, visiting multiple locations, but he is proud of the fact that he was able to help his team. Jesus is an outstanding example of genuine values and people centric purpose. While recovering from the long day, Jesus allowed me to pick his brain about a senior HR leadership program. His words resonated deeply: "HR is the heart of the house." He emphasized the importance of truly feeling people's needs and pains, and how crucial it is for senior HR professionals to remain humble, to listen, and to act. This dedication to employee welfare and professional growth is what sets the best companies apart.
