🌟 Exciting News: Supporting Our Veterans 🌟
We are proud to announce our recent collaboration with Team #6 of Leadership Green Bay in their remarkable initiative alongside Veterans 1st of Northeast Wisconsin. Together, we are dedicated to making a significant difference in the lives of veterans facing housing insecurity in our community.
🏡 The Vision: Creating a supportive community for our veterans, the project envisions the construction of 21 cottage homes and a Community Center. This initiative is not just about providing shelter but also about fostering a sense of belonging and support among those who served our country.
🛠 Our Contribution: To aid in the realization of this noble cause, our focus has been on fundraising efforts to construct a carriage house. This essential structure will serve as a central storage facility for tools and materials during the construction phase and later transition to a maintenance and storage hub for the residents and the community.
🤝 Why It Matters: By supporting this project, we're not only contributing to the physical structure of a community but also reinforcing the foundation of support and gratitude for our veterans. It's our way of giving back to those who have given so much.
We invite our network to join us in this endeavor, whether through contributions, sharing this message, or volunteering. Together, we can make a substantial impact on the lives of veterans in need.

Talking about the technology is one thing - learning about how the technology can be implemented with Life Connection of Ohio to help change the trajectory of peoples lives takes it to another level.
So impressed with altafiber's commitment to using this technology to help solve various issues companies are facing, regardless of industry. And to think, we are only at the very beginning of this journey.

Studio 5G and altafiber were happy to host Kevin Paturzo with Life Connection of Ohio today. They honor those who give the gift of life, support the families of those donor heroes, and celebrate with those who receive second chances at life.
What is the value of ”Take Your Daughter to Work Day? We think it is education and empathy, so the child knows what the parent does daily, but it is so much more. It instills lifelong work values. Meahgan Gibson attended a “Take Your Daughter to Work Day” at Wyndham Hotels & Resorts. To this day she reminds me of a few choice words I stated during a staff meeting but she also pursued a career in Leisure and Hospitality. More importantly she picked up values like; everybody is critical to success (especially the lowest paid hourly associates), every person has a story, treat people with dignity and respect, and if they have a name tag, user their name. Grow by trying new things that others shy away from. Powerful words are “thank you” and “can you help me”, and assisting others even if you do not have time. Today this was in my feed. I had no idea she was working on this. Biscuits and socks, who knew? But more importantly, a young professional (from a generation many professionals belittle) leading a project that reflects well on the brand and does good for the community. Also hats off to Dennis Pfaff, Maple Street Biscuit Company and Cracker Barrel for creating an organization culture where young professional growth occurs. Take your daughter to work and as a leader, your relationships matter more than you know. #cio#leadership
TLDR: I've been working on something pretty cool!
"The Maple Street Mantra: Help People, Serve Others, Be A Part Of The Community" is why I joined the team. I'm grateful to Maple Street Biscuit Company for allowing me to take on something so near and dear to who we are.
*Maple Street Silly Socks* a portion of sock sales will go directly to LifeQuest Organ Recovery Services and U.F. Health, supporting their incredible work to maximize the Gift of Life through organ and tissue donation.
This is particularly meaningful because giving back has always been a big part of who I am. From working with the Miami Children's Initiative during my time at the University of Florida to my work with the Harrison County Community Foundation, I've seen firsthand the impact we can make when we come together.
Your support means the world and will help create positive change in our community. P.S. The socks are pretty cool as well https://lnkd.in/gKJnfwB6

When I started at William & Mary in 2020, I never imagined myself becoming an entrepreneur. Now, four years later, I'm ecstatic to announce that Aaraj and I have been selected for Batch 17 of Lighthouse Labs RVA's startup accelerator program.
What began as an idea between two friends at the first floor tables of Swem Library, VerbaAI LLC has blossomed into collaborations with multiple state leagues of the League of Women Voters, and a strong working relationship with Microsoft's Democracy Forward team. At VerbaAI LLC, we are dedicated to building software that fortifies the information environment. From tracking emerging narratives to detecting cutting-edge deepfake videos with Forentify, we are committed to making sure that accurate, trustworthy information prevails in an ever-evolving digital landscape. The past year and a half has been a thoroughly rewarding experience, and I’m excited to continue to take this venture, as Mike Tierney would say, “beyond the ivory tower.”
My time at W&M was an instrumental part of my entrepreneurial journey. I wouldn’t be here without the immense help of the William & Mary Global Research Institute and the W&M Entrepreneurship Hub and the opportunities they gave me to present my work. My intellectual curiosity was fostered at DisinfoLab W&M, a truly unique organization at the college. Leading the lab for the past 3 years, as well as co-founding the lab’s software incubator was without a doubt the most impactful experience I had as a student. I’ll never forget the countless hours spent poring over research reports and debugging MVPs with students who shared this same entrepreneurial vision. And of course, I wouldn’t be here without the dedication of my fellow Tribe alum and co-founder Aaraj, the hardest working person I know, who has been on this journey with me every step of the way.
There are so many people who have helped get me where I am today, but in particular, I would like to thank Mike Tierney, Ryan A. Musto, Ph.D., Dennis Smith, Amy Oakes, Ana Carcani Rold, Shane Szarkowski, PhD, Tim Ryan, Graham Henshaw, Tracy Gronewold, Tom Plant, Megan Hogan, Dave Leichtman, Ethan Chumley, Matthew Masterson, Tim Carroll, Dhruv Gupta, Chris Hoyle, Jasmin Alsaied, Roger Yee, Barbara A. Buchanan, Navneet V., Ellen McCarthy, and Doowan Lee for their unwavering support through this journey.
Here’s to the future of VerbaAI!
What an incredible event! We are grateful for the opportunity to bring our community together through this dedicated partnership for our mission. Thank you for helping empower families living with neuromuscular disease! We are so grateful to all of you! 💙 💛
