• We will provide and set up your table and chairs.
• We will provide coffee, water & lunch.
• Please bring a tablecloth, any table decorations/marketing materials, and applications.
• Wi-fi will be available, but please bring your own electronics and extension cords.
About the culture at Better Together job fairs:
• Culture of Celebration - We will celebrate every person and every opportunity which they find at the job fair. Make a big deal out of interviews, job offers, and other meaningful interactions. We also want to celebrate them and the employers!
• Opportunity Bell - One of the most obvious ways we celebrate. If you extend an on-the-spot job offer, please come up to the bell with your new employee to ring it together so we can all stop, clap, cheer, and celebrate with you.
• Job Coaches - Volunteers will be working with and encouraging job seekers throughout the day. If you are looking for something specific or not having a lot of luck, flag down a coach so they can be on the lookout for exactly what you need. Their job is to make matches and get job seekers ready to meet you, so help them do their jobs better by interacting with them.
• What is your one more step? - We love it when people receive information about open positions and how to apply - that’s fantastic. But, we would love to challenge you to take one more step than you have taken before at job fairs and try interviewing on the spot, conducting screening steps before they’ve left the building, inviting job seekers for appointments or interviews at specific set times at your facility, or even offering on the spot jobs. We will provide a private room for your on the spot interviews to be held.
