You can clearly see the hallway is a vision of total coverage, with a easy up and down motion with the horizontal HEN's Blade Pattern. Pageland FD (SC) putting the HEN Blade 160 thru its paces. A huge thank you to Chief Tommy Rivers and the Pageland FD in South Carolina for sharing this video of their newly received HEN Blade 160. This is a great clip of his firefighters moving thru their training building while flowing. The Blade pattern simplifies the push by increasing the coverage, reducing the amount of nozzle movement needed to cool the area in front of you. And be advised, Chief Rivers wanted me to know that this was their first hands-on attempt with their Blade 160, their first real exposure to it. Well, with Blade in hand, that firefighter looked pretty good for having just been exposed to this new nozzle. Just think how good your firefighters will look when they are flowing a HEN Blade 160. If you are in the process of evaluating nozzles and you aren't adding HEN to the list, you are doing a disservice to your department and to your community. There is no reason not to explore HEN. It is great for Orange County and all the other PSAPs (911 call centers) that have embraced Carbyne's emergency systems in their 911 infrastructure. However, it is concerning to hear that most of the United States' emergency 911 systems are still built on old technology. Nassau County (where I live) made a significant investment (over 110k) for the upgrade to text-to-911, which, while a step forward, is already surpassed by more advanced options offered by Carbyne. Their technology, such as text to video (so operators can give proper responses based on verified situations), geolocation (to the exact latitude and longitude), advanced information response systems for operators (yes, based off of video analyzed as well), and automatic language translation (yes, it's a voice translator, wow!). This is just the beginning of what Carbyne offers. Carbyne also offers an unparalleled Emergency platform; they also have most of the patents for most of these technologies. In the world we live in, these are the kind of innovative and comprehensive solutions that are essential for protecting lives in emergency situations. I urge all my contacts who are involved with 911 call centers to consider what Carbyne offers and to advocate for its adoption or to work with a Carbyne partner that has Carbyne in the background. It's clear that complacency and the use of outdated technology are not acceptable when lives are at stake. "Complexity is the enemy of Execution." is my favorite Tony Robbins quote. The beauty of the HENnozzles design is the idea is not complex, it is simple. Simple does not mean easy to pull off. In the process of building a national #fire #hydrant database, we would often get told by local governments that it would be a "national security risk" due to the ability to put poison inside of a hydrant. We'd run this by #firefighters and they would chuckle and say "no it's not -that's not how hydrants work." Here's what happens when you mess with a hydrant.
