Grateful to be able to take some time out of my day to be part of a panel discussing ways to overcome Imposter Syndrome. The panel was only a small part of an amazing career event hosted by Data & Tech Academy and Women Connectech👩🏻💻with Lloyds Banking Group My take aways are 🔹You are not alone in feeling like an imposter. Many successful women experience imposter syndrome at some point in their careers. 🔹Recognize your achievements and strengths. You’ve earned your place at the table. 🔹Self-advocacy is crucial for your professional growth. Don’t hesitate to speak up for yourself and your accomplishments. 🔹Trust in your abilities and expertise. Your voice matters, and your perspective is valuable. 🔹Embrace challenges as opportunities for growth. Each obstacle you overcome reinforces your capabilities.” 🔹Remember, it’s okay to ask for help or support when needed. Seeking guidance is a sign of strength, not weakness. 🔹Celebrate your successes, no matter how small. Acknowledging your achievements boosts confidence and combats imposter feelings. 🔹Surround yourself with a supportive network of peers and mentors who uplift and empower you. 🔹Challenge negative self-talk and replace it with affirmations of your worth and competence. 🔹Keep pushing past your comfort zone. Every step forward builds resilience and confidence in your abilities. And always great to catch up with so many wonderful ladies and make new connections 🫶 #WomeninTech #lbg #noordinaryjourney
