Your Midlife Glow Up Listen up, because yesterday's call with one of my one-on-one clients was an absolute game-changer. She had what I'd call a 'come to Jesus' moment. It might sound dramatic, but it's spot on. She was stuck in a loop, repeating the same old habits and expecting miracles. So, I did what I do best – I called her out on her BS with some seriously potent questions, questions you can ask yourself right now. Here they are: 1. Do you really want to change? 2. What are you prepared to do differently? 3. Are you actually ready to do something about your situation right now? I can't help but giggle because that session took a wild turn. I handed her back her power and control. She took her sweet time answering these questions, and that's exactly what I suggest you do as well. If you find yourself running in circles, doing the same thing and expecting different outcomes, sit down with these questions. Give yourself the space to truly answer them. Drop into your body and let the real answers bubble up. And hey, if you're a midlife woman caught in the cycle of repeat and rinse, and you're ready to stop messing around and start living an intentional, fabulous life as a high-value woman, then swing by my profile. Let's explore how we can work together and make magic happen. #thestarmonroeeffect #maincharacterenergy #over50women #midlifereinvention #upgradeyourlifestyle #glowup #highvaluewomen #midlifewomen #agingwell #midliferenaissance

Reflecting on my journey, I've come to appreciate the delicate dance between personal passions, career aspirations, and the profound responsibilities of being a wife, a daughter, a friend, and for other women a mother. 𝗜𝘁'𝘀 𝗲𝗮𝘀𝘆 𝘁𝗼 𝗹𝗼𝘀𝗲 𝗼𝘂𝗿𝘀𝗲𝗹𝘃𝗲𝘀 𝗶𝗻 𝘁𝗵𝗲 𝘄𝗵𝗶𝗿𝗹𝘄𝗶𝗻𝗱 𝗼𝗳 𝘁𝗵𝗲𝘀𝗲 𝗰𝗼𝗺𝗺𝗶𝘁𝗺𝗲𝗻𝘁𝘀, feeling pulled in countless directions. Yet, amidst the chaos, lies an opportunity for growth and balance. It's essential to carve out moments of 𝘀𝗲𝗹𝗳-𝗰𝗮𝗿𝗲 and reflection, ensuring that both our personal fulfillment and professional endeavors receive the attention they deserve. By nurturing ourselves, we not only enrich our own lives but also set a powerful example for our children and future generations. We show them the importance of #resilience, #selfcare, and pursuing one's passions. 𝗜 𝗮𝗺 𝗮𝗶𝗺𝗶𝗻𝗴 𝘁𝗼 𝗰𝗿𝗲𝗮𝘁𝗲 𝗮 𝗰𝗼𝗺𝗺𝘂𝗻𝗶𝘁𝘆 𝗼𝗳 𝗺𝗼𝘁𝗵𝗲𝗿𝘀, 𝘀𝘂𝗽𝗽𝗼𝗿𝘁𝗶𝗻𝗴 𝗮𝗻𝗱 𝘂𝗽𝗹𝗶𝗳𝘁𝗶𝗻𝗴 𝗲𝗮𝗰𝗵 𝗼𝘁𝗵𝗲𝗿 𝗮𝘀 𝘆𝗼𝘂 𝗻𝗮𝘃𝗶𝗴𝗮𝘁𝗲 𝘁𝗵𝗶𝘀 𝗷𝗼𝘂𝗿𝗻𝗲𝘆. Reinvention Coach for Women || Busy Taking Care of Others? || Your Resentments Been Under Wraps Too Long || Master Listener || Champion for Women ||10x Your Inner Calm 10x Your Soul Growth || Find Ease, Flow & your mojo!
Well, I don’t know about you, but I personally don’t care for the term “midlife”Does it sound frumpy? Maybe outdated? How do you feel about it? But yet it’s a great SEO word….. I’ve been able to grow my Midlife Musings newsletter subscriber list to over 1,277 as of today! It’s a newsletter just for women, written by a woman who’s lived through midlife and beyond now and has learned a thing or two about not just surviving but thriving in the face of adversity. Midlife does describe the cross section of smart talented women that I coach but, but from here on out I’d rather use a different word to describe women of a certain age who want more: Midsparker A midsparker has been an ambitious woman, perhaps a mother, a wife, a divorcee, or a single gal. And the amount you can get done in a day, girl, is impressive! But I suspect the problem is your flame is starting to diminish and might need some re-stoking. It happens Mid Spark ! Even though, I mainly work with women over 40, if you were 35 and called me I wouldn’t turn you down - because it’s my mission to help troves of women, raise up their positive vibration. I use a special process known as shadow work which is based on the premise that we are all whole but along the way we have rejected or denied certain parts of ourselves. Shadow work helps put you back together again - unlike Humpty Dumpty who they couldn’t put back together again. 😜 It’s important to understand that I’m not saying you’re broken. You are not. Exploring your shadow self is your ticket to freedom and living a life without limits. Are you chomping at the bit and wanting to move out of feeling stuck and stale because your dreams have only intensified? Maybe you’re just feeling emotionally drained? I’m here for you Mid Spark, “good” girls who do so much for others … It’s time to put yourself first and I can show you the way back home, to yourself. Reach out if you’re feeling called to step forward and stand for all the things that matter most to you. It would be my honor to be your guide. DM me if you want more details on what working together would look like. 😍 #womensempowerment #midlifewomen #midlejourney #personalgrowth #lifecoachforwomen #liveyourbestlife #shadowwork #supportingwomen #getunstuck

International Project Leader, Mindset & Confidence Coach ~ Inspiring positive change & empowering teams and individuals to thrive ~ Passionate Public Speaker | Wellbeing & self-compassion expert | New mom 🌸 ✨🚀
Are you a working mother who feels tired, frustrated, and overwhelmed? One of my clients felt this way about motherhood—she described her experience as chaotic, her house messy, and she was often in a bad mood. “Motherhood is heavy and not exactly rose-coloured” - she said. As a new mother, I can relate to some of those feelings, and I’m well aware motherhood can feel like a rollercoaster. When exploring her feelings and thoughts together, she realised she had high expectations of herself and, deep inside, doubted her capabilities. She also realised she was paying attention to thoughts of perfectionism, comparing herself with others, and letting all of that bother her. When we ended the conversation, she said: "I often forget I’m a perfectionist - motherhood is perfect as it is." Leaving our session convinced she was doing a great job and knew she could trust herself as a mother and professional. She is using her tools and working on being aware. To enjoy what is great and to manage what is not so great sometimes as a working mother of two. What was the shift? In our conversation, she recognised her efforts, focused on what worked, observed how she talked to herself and changed that inner conversation. In a word, self-compassion. What about you? How do you feel about motherhood most of the time? How do you talk to yourself? And how do you manage the ups and downs? If you’re still reading, first, thank you! :) Second, you probably also relate. If so, what’s your experience? I want to explore co-creating a space where we can share some of these experiences and tools to navigate challenging moments and support each other. Leave a comment below or send me a DM if you are interested :) I’d love to hear from you. "Motherhood: the greatest masterpiece of a woman's life, painted with love, patience, and the brushstrokes of endless devotion." Becoming a mother is a monumental life change, filled with joy, love, and new responsibilities. For many women, it also means juggling the demands of motherhood with those of a career. While the idea of balancing work and motherhood might seem daunting, it's entirely possible to embrace both roles with grace and fulfillment. Here are some tips on how to navigate the beautiful journey of motherhood while excelling in your career: ✅ Striving for perfection in both motherhood and your career is unrealistic and bound to lead to disappointment. Instead, set realistic expectations for yourself and accept that some days will be more challenging than others. ✅ Flexibility is key when balancing work and motherhood. Explore flexible work arrangements such as telecommuting, flexible hours, or job sharing if possible. ✅ Above all, be kind to yourself. Remember that you're doing the best you can in a challenging balancing act. Don't compare yourself to others or succumb to feelings of guilt or inadequacy. Be kind, Be Focused, Be organised and love what you do. Would love to hear more from others. Please add your thoughts also. #motherhood #workingmom #MomLife #MotherhoodUnplugged #MomentsWithMom #MomTribe #MotherhoodRocks #MomBoss #MomGoals #SuperMom #MomStrong #MomLifeBalance #MamaBear #MomHustle #MotherhoodMagic #MomLifeBestLife #MomLifeIsTheBestLife #MomLifeHappyLife #MomLifeMatters #MomLifeLove #MotherhoodJourney

How does it make you feel to know there’s a word for it? All those mental and physical things you feel are not you: not coping bring too emotional bring fself indulgent doing things wrong add in something you’ve been accused of or accessed yourself of It’s a thing! It’s a thing we’ve been unaware of and trying to fight through unseen and unheard. Desperately getting back to ‘normal’ asap. When it’s basically impossible to do that. We need to acknowledge the change and the adaptation process physically, mentally and emotionally. Like all of these things, when it’s accepted and worked with everything becomes better, easier, happier. I don’t know about you but I felt relieved (there wasn’t anything wrong with me and for all present and future mothers who can be made aware of this) and sad (for all the mothers who didn’t know and thought they were wrong in some way) If you want to know more I highly recommend the @lucyfjones book ‘Matrescense’ * * * #matrescence #goingbacktowork #careercoachingforwomen #returntoworkcoaching #workingparentlife #parentalleave #maternityleave #maternityleaveisover #workingmumguilt #workingmum #matrescence #kitday #womenscoach #returntowork #returntoworkcoach #executivecoachingforwomen

90 seconds of motherhood It’s never a balance, always a juggle. To all the super mammas I see you all, navigating what life throws at you whilst trying to be everything to everyone including yourself. The phone call from school in the middle of the meeting. Working from home whilst your child is sick. Being a boss. A mentor and coach. Making decisions. Creating strategy Driving results. Trying to be a good friend Have a social life Looking after yourself Working on your health Trying to be strong Raising and guiding your children whilst doing all of the above. It’s not at easy job when you mix it all together it’s as rewarding and as it is utterly draining. What makes it easier is employers and leaders who empower and allow us to be all these things and to do it all well. Who appreciate and respect the curveballs and the daily clonks that throw it all up in the air and make you think differently. Happy Mother’s Day super mammas and a special thank you to our companies who understand that being everything to everyone doesn’t always go to plan but it always comes good 💪🏻♥️ #motherhood #worklife #thejuggleisreal #greatemployers #mothersday2024
