  • Can you believe it’s already the last day of August? This month has flown by, but it's been absolutely wonderful! My theme for August was Gratitude, and I’ve made it my mission to have a month full of appreciation. There’s been so much to be grateful for: ✨️ Quality family time, celebrating GCSE results, birthdays, and our wedding anniversary weekend away ✨️Welcoming new clients and celebrating client successes ✨️The SHE Network - Business Networking for Women Summer Social and announcing the new SHE Network Membership ✨️One of my best months in business financially (after a wobbly start), plus award nominations and attending launch events ✨️Enjoying Book Club, book events, and dinners out with friends ✨️Getting back to the gym and even braving my new cold plunge! ✨️Tackling decluttering projects around the house that were driving me nuts ✨️Seeing TEDxWolverhampton videos being published ✨️Recovering from Covid for the sixth time and finally learning to put my health first There’s truly been so much to be grateful for this month. A huge thank you to everyone who’s been part of my gratitude challenge—I hope it’s helped you appreciate the little things and cultivate an abundant mindset. ❤️ Here’s to a Successful September as we kickstart the last third of the year! What have you been most grateful for this month? #goodbyeAugust #gratefulaugust #gratitude #gratitudemindset

  • I talk a lot about the importance of working on your mindset, especially in midlife, but what does that actually mean? For me, working on your mindset looks like: Ditching the Guilt Stop feeling bad for taking time for yourself. Whether it's a quiet cup of tea in the morning, an hour at the gym, or reading a book in peace – you deserve it. Guilt has no place in your personal development journey Setting Boundaries Like a Boss Learn to say 'no' without an apology. Prioritising your time and energy isn't selfish; it's essential. If it doesn't serve your growth, peace, or joy, feel free to pass. Speaking to Yourself Kindly Catch those inner critic moments and shut them down. Would you speak to a friend the way you sometimes speak to yourself? Probably not. Practice self-compassion and give yourself some grace. Embracing Change Midlife is not a crisis; it's a transition. See it as an opportunity to reinvent, reimagine, and rediscover who you are and what you want. Change is scary, but stagnation is even scarier. Celebrating Small Wins You don't have to climb Everest to feel accomplished. Did you manage a 10-minute meditation? Finally tackled that drawer? Managed to get the kids out the door on time? Celebrate it. Every little victory counts. Letting Go of Perfectionism Life's too short to wait for the 'perfect' time, the 'perfect' plan, or the 'perfect' anything. Done is better than perfect, and progress is better than standing still. Show up as you are – messy, real, and fabulous. Surrounding Yourself with Positivity Distance yourself from the naysayers and energy vampires. You need people who uplift, inspire, and genuinely cheer for you. Curate your tribe wisely. Investing in Yourself: Take that course, start that hobby, book that trip. Investing in your personal growth and happiness is never a waste. You are your best asset, so nurture it. Gratitude as a Daily Ritual Make it a habit to list three things you're grateful for every day. It shifts your focus from what’s lacking to what’s abundant in your life. Gratitude rewires your brain to see the positive. Owning Your Story Your past doesn’t define you. What defines you is how you rise, grow, and move forward. Own your story, with all its chapters, because it has made you the resilient, wise, and powerful woman you are today. Working on your mindset is about showing up for yourself every day, with intention and love, knowing that you are worthy of the life you want to create. If you're ready to start working on your mindset , let's chat I have limited availability in October and am now booking for January 2025 Empower Hour Booking Link in comments ❤️ #midlifemindset #midlifewomen #growthmindset #mindsetcoach

  • What are you grateful for today? Gratitude is more than just a polite "thank you." It's a daily practice of truly noticing and appreciating all that you have, even the smallest things that often go unnoticed. By embracing gratitude, we cultivate a mindset that shifts our focus from what's lacking to the abundance in our lives, fostering positivity and resilience. It's about feeling deeply grateful for the present moment and everything it holds, helping us to build a more positive and fulfilling outlook on life. #gratitude #gratefulaugust #31daygratitudechallenge

  • Gratitude helps shift our focus from what we lack to what we have. This positive shift in perspective encourages us to see what we have have, rather than what we think we lack When we appreciate our what we have, no matter how small, we become more open to opportunities and happiness. Today, rather than worrying about what you don't have, or any areas of lack in your life Take a look around the room you are in, and realise everything you have around you Be grateful for the chair you are sitting in The mug you are drinking from The house you are living in The people and/or pets you share it with The device you're reading this on Appreciate everything you have ❤️ #gratefulaugust #midlifemindsetproject #midlifemindset #growthmindset

  • #HappyWednesday Today, let’s talk about developing an attitude of gratitude. When we're busy, it’s easy to overlook the little things that bring us joy and contentment. Cultivating gratitude isn’t just about saying "thank you"; it’s a mindset that can transform your outlook on life. Here are a few tips to help you develop a more grateful attitude: ❤️ Start a Gratitude Journal - Each day, write down three things you’re grateful for. They don’t have to be grand gestures – sometimes, it’s the simple pleasures that matter most. ❤️ Mindful Moments - Take a few minutes each day to pause and appreciate your surroundings. Whether it’s a beautiful sunset or a quiet moment with a loved one, being present helps us recognise the goodness around us. ❤️ Express Appreciation - Don’t hesitate to tell people how much you appreciate them. A simple “thank you” can go a long way in strengthening relationships and spreading positivity. ❤️ Focus on the Positive - When faced with challenges, try to see them as opportunities for growth. Reflecting on what you can learn from difficult situations can shift your perspective to one of gratitude. ❤️ Gratitude Rituals - Incorporate small gratitude practices into your daily routine, like reflecting on what you’re thankful for before bed or sharing your gratitude at the dinner table. Remember, developing an attitude of gratitude takes time and practice, but the benefits are well worth it. It can lead to a more positive outlook, better mental health, and stronger relationships. Let’s embrace gratitude and make it a cornerstone of our lives. What are you grateful for today?
