Impressive solution of automatic refuelling thanks to CoreAVI solutions.

ACAMS Airport Tower Solutions, a European supplier of air traffic control (ATC) systems, announces that it has completed a contract for the delivery of a new i6 ATIS in Sardinia island. The ACAMS i6 ATIS system is put into operation at Decimomannu Air Base that hosts the International Flight Training School, and is also likely to become an airbase for the Italian Air Force F-35 fighter jets. ACAMS i6 ATIS will provide the actual present weather situation, the state of the runway, as well as other pertinent information. This information will enhance air traffic safety and efficiency, with relevant information being distributed automatically through the ATIS system. This is the 4th Italian Air Force airbase ACAMS supplies with an ATIS, as ATIS systems were previously delivered to three other air bases in recent years. The Airbus #C295 medium airlifter has reached 300 orders, taking into account its different transport and mission versions, following the Republic of Kazakhstan’s acquisition of a third aircraft for the Aviation Service of the National Security Committee. This figure underlines the success of the Spanish and European aerospace industry, as the C295 is the undisputed leader in its segment with a market share of more than 80%. The C295 currently has 41 operators from 37 countries in Europe, the Americas, Africa and Asia,19 of which have placed repeat orders. The first flight took place in 1997, with the Spanish Air and Space Force as its first customer. The big picture 💡? Why was Russia at the 2023 Dubai Airshow? Several of Russia’s biggest weapon makers and state-owned enterprises such as Rosoboronexport State Corporation, Russian Helicopters, JSC and State Corporation Rostec were showing their wares at the Middle East’s largest aviation event, which took place in mid-November. On display were drones and other weapons used in Ukraine, including the KA-52 attack helicopter. The UAE, which hosts the Dubai Airshow, is a close ally of the U.S. But that hasn’t stopped it from doing business with Russia. However, there are signs that the UAE wants to balance that booming trade with Russia and its ties with the West, particularly Washington - notably, the Russian displays were at the very far end of the venue, with its companies separated from most of the other countries at the exhibition.
