Eastern GP Federation Support Unit's GP Elective Care services was established in 2018 in response to ongoing workforce issues, seeking to address NI's waiting list, which was the highest in the UK. Since then, 76,000 referrals have been received and 68,000 patients seen by a GP with Enhanced Skills, significantly reducing waiting list times. Unfortunately, since July 2023, funding has been cut by 50% resulting in waiting list times starting to increase. More information on this service can be found here 👇 ⏩ https://lnkd.in/eYpkjCYz
