In an interesting article that recently appeared in ResearchLive about DIY research, the following was said, “ Market research is ultimately about asking good questions, understanding something, learning, and implementing a solution. If you have all the money and resources, solving problems is straightforward.” While the language seems to make perfect sense at first glance, I would quibble with it. True, the steps mentioned above (asking good questions, etc.) place you on the correct path but you can accomplish all these things and yet, not be able to solve problems that would appear to be straightforward. Why? Because if the respondents experienced a boring or frustrating time before answering that first survey question, the solution you were able to reach is one you would have little confidence in. Better respondent experiences equal better survey experiences that equals better data and we believe this is possible through GMIFY. #mentalhealth #dataquality #marketresearch #insightsassociation #esomar #newmr
