If you lead with Competition, you thrive on measurement as it enables comparisons, and you enjoy contests because they yield a winner. When leveraging this strength, identify the performance scores that reveal your daily standing. Which metrics should you focus on? When you achieve a win, take the time to analyze why you succeeded. You may gain more insights from a victory than from a defeat. With Competition in his top five, CEO of Macquarie Technology Group David Tudehope welcomes the idea of having a scoreboard. He values straightforward metrics to gauge organizational success, including intangibles like purpose, customer loyalty and engagement. If you lead with Competition, how do you see this strength play out in your life? Scroll through to discover strategies to leverage this strength and questions to ask others with Competition.  https://lnkd.in/gnEpbEus

Competition is #5 for me. Since discovering my talents many years ago and learning to use my strengths more effectively at each stage of life. When faced with setbacks and disappointment I'm learning to lean into Competition to keep me focused and motivated in positive ways. And as someone who leads with Futuristic #1, Competition keeps me connected to what's now and the next step needed on my way to being a top performer at work and beyond! 😊 SMARTER goals are my favorite way to stay focused Specific Measurable Attainable Relevant Timebound Evaluate Revise goals when needed

Competition is my #3, and it’s an integral part of how I think. My brain is constantly stack ranking people and things, and sometimes that shows up in my conversation. My friends have joked and said, “Jeez, Kris, not everything is a competition!” And with most everyday things, they’re right; it’s just how my brain organizes information. A scoreboard provides structure and organization to my thoughts and actions.

My #4. I like to compete against myself (do things better than before,) as well as compete against other’s expectations of me. I enjoy being the underdog and doing something much better than others thought I could. Probably since I also have learner in my top 5.

Competition #1. I appreciate this insight as it’s somewhat difficult to explain this strength to others.

Love this strength in my top 5 and it applies also to my coaching perpective and value. I LOVE winning and being a coach my value is how do I help YOU win on tbe aspects that are meaningful to you. When I help you win, then I get to share in your win and it also becomes my win. Here we are in this big world winning together and that is pretty special!

#1 so I find it frustrating when I don't see metrics and engagement scores to measure. This is why I loved working with Christine Joy Puasa and Mark Jay Cabales who were able to translate the team's accomplishments into metrics that made sense.
