Would you buy a $50,000 Ferrari? Or would you be offended? When it comes to pricing, it's not just numbers on a tag but a description of "worth" that can dictate the success or downfall of a product. We are constantly analyzing and strategizing how to stay ahead. One area that often gets overlooked is pricing. Price isn't just a number - it's part of your story. It communicates your value proposition and positions you amongst competitors. Consider luxury autos. A "cheap Ferrari" would be so offensive to its current customers that it would probably affect their willingness to buy other cars from the brand. Meanwhile, those seeking $50,000 cars might never consider the Ferrari, expecting it to be completely bare-bones compared to alternatives. Understanding this dynamic can be transformative. Through narrative pricing, we can direct how our products are perceived, attract the right customers, and even push competitors out of space. So, dive deep into stories next time you assess your pricing strategy. A well-thought-out approach might be the game-changer you've been looking for! Price is more than a number - wield it strategically! #BusinessStrategy #PricingStrategy #Pricing #NarrativePricing #Storytelling #Luxury #ConsumerGoods #MakeStrategyGreat

Core competence and competitive advantage of Alfa Romeo Alfa Romeo Automobiles S.p.A. (Italian: [ˈalfa roˈmɛːo]) is an Italian luxury car manufacturer and a subsidiary of Stellantis Italy. It was founded on 24 June 1910 in Milan, Italy, as A.L.F.A., an acronym for Anonima Lombarda Fabbrica Automobili.[a] The brand is known for sport-oriented vehicles and has been involved in car racing since 1911. As of 2023 it is a subsidiary of the multinational automotive manufacturing corporation Stellantis Alfa Romeo's core competencies lie in their heritage of innovative design, performance engineering, and a distinctive Italian aesthetic. Their competitive advantage stems from a blend of advanced technology, craftsmanship, and a unique brand identity, positioning them as a premium choice in the automotive market. Applying the VRIN framework: 1) Valuable: Alfa Romeo's brand heritage and design contribute to their perceived value in the luxury car segment. 2) Rare: The combination of Italian flair and engineering expertise is relatively rare in the automotive industry, giving Alfa Romeo a distinctive edge. 3) Inimitable: Alfa Romeo's heritage and design philosophy are not easily replicated, making it challenging for competitors to imitate their unique appeal. 4) Non-substitutable: The emotional connection and heritage associated with Alfa Romeo are not easily replaced, providing a non-substitutable aspect to their offerings. In essence, Alfa Romeo's core competencies and the VRIN characteristics contribute to a sustainable competitive advantage, positioning them uniquely in the automotive market. #NixonSabu #alfaromeo #MBA2224 #strategicmanagement #EKTA Dr. Sudeep B. Think of “Alfa Romeo” and your mind will be full of superlatives.. Since its inception in 1920, the company has created vehicles that bring the thrill of sports car ownership to the masses and that's what is special about Alfa Romeo. I've always felt driving an Alfa, you can always sense that the guys designing it had the driver in mind and wanted to build the most exciting car possible. That Giulia Quardrifoglio is a beauty🔥 History tells me that Alfa Romeo vehicles are only for petrolheads or simply for those who enjoy the pleasure of driving a good car. Because Alfa Romeo (and to the same extent Italian cars in general) are usually a bit more tuned for a better driving experience… I've been thinking that causal owners will always be suspicious of reliability, cost of ownership or perhaps the resale value.. And the last one, resale value has always been a cause of concern and is somehow true. Usually, people are satisfied with the high cost of ownership with German brands but if it happens to be an Italian car, they always think. I should've known better.. ALFA is truly by enthusiast for enthusiast. Most underrated cars I've ever witnessed over a period of time..
