We are extremely proud of the results we achieved in the first half of 2024. In these first six months, in fact, we delivered 5,558 cars (with EMEA, Americas and APAC registering 2,498, 1,849 and 1,211 vehicles respectively) with revenues of €1,621 billion, an increase of 14.1% over the same period in 2023 and an operating profit rising to a record €458 million. This pivotal phase is supported by the largest investment in the company's history, with the main objective of expanding our product offering. This process demands significant resources, yet these efforts are essential to sustain our growth and ensure that Automobili Lamborghini continues to innovate and lead in the luxury super sports car sector. Let me say it – this is also due to the incredible passion of every person involved in the process of keeping Automobili Lamborghini the brand that it is and the unbelievable enthusiasm of our clients, who make all of this possible every day. Thanks to all of you! #Lamborghini

Vehicle Dynamics Development Driver / Performance Calibration Engineer - Active Suspension, Brake-by-Wire, ESC, Tyre
A very nice article for those who hadn't seen it. Having worked with Stanzani, Gandini, Materazzi, Forghieri and others in the same decade must be a great life memory for someone like Maurizio. Titles to articles are always a bit controversial. Who invented the supercar: was it the Ford GT40 or the Lamborghini Miura or the unknown mid-engined Bonnet Djet? And the more modern supercar: was it the Lamborghini LP400, the Ferrari '288' GTO, or the Ferrari F40? Who knows ... The main thing is that we tackle our climate change goals with data in hand and don't blame it on supercars and hypercars that are mostly an expression of our art, imagination and pursuit of the arduous. https://lnkd.in/e6pAWPv4

Would you buy a $50,000 Ferrari? Or would you be offended? When it comes to pricing, it's not just numbers on a tag but a description of "worth" that can dictate the success or downfall of a product. We are constantly analyzing and strategizing how to stay ahead. One area that often gets overlooked is pricing. Price isn't just a number - it's part of your story. It communicates your value proposition and positions you amongst competitors. Consider luxury autos. A "cheap Ferrari" would be so offensive to its current customers that it would probably affect their willingness to buy other cars from the brand. Meanwhile, those seeking $50,000 cars might never consider the Ferrari, expecting it to be completely bare-bones compared to alternatives. Understanding this dynamic can be transformative. Through narrative pricing, we can direct how our products are perceived, attract the right customers, and even push competitors out of space. So, dive deep into stories next time you assess your pricing strategy. A well-thought-out approach might be the game-changer you've been looking for! Price is more than a number - wield it strategically! #BusinessStrategy #PricingStrategy #Pricing #NarrativePricing #Storytelling #Luxury #ConsumerGoods #MakeStrategyGreat

Have you ever thought about how Enzo Ferrari could be linked to the Peugeot 404? On the surface, these two vehicles seem to come from entirely different worlds one is a symbol of high-performance luxury, while the other is known for its practicality and reliability. However, their connection offers a fascinating glimpse into the broader world of automotive design, where passion meets practicality and innovation shapes everyday driving experiences. This unlikely relationship underscores how the philosophies of engineering and design overlap, even in the most unexpected places. 🔗 Discover more about this surprising intersection in car history here: https://lnkd.in/dS649MxM

"Lamborghini's Revolt: Turning Ferrari's Insult into Supercar Glory 😡🏎️" "A Century of Insights- 100 Business Stories in 100 Days" In the quaint town of Modena, Italy, Ferruccio Lamborghini, a brilliant mechanic, rose from humble beginnings to become a tractor tycoon. Utilizing discarded military vehicle parts, he crafted tractors that garnered immense demand, establishing himself as a formidable force in the industry by 1960. Despite his success in agriculture, Lamborghini harbored a fervent passion for automobiles, boasting a collection that included Maserati, Oscas, and, notably, a Ferrari. However, an encounter with Enzo Ferrari left him seething. Ferrari dismissed Lamborghini's complaint about a faulty Ferrari 250 GT, attributing the issue to the "farmer" behind the wheel rather than the car itself. Incensed by this perceived insult, Lamborghini made a bold vow to surpass Ferrari. Thus, the birth of Automobili Lamborghini marked the genesis of a fierce rivalry. Lamborghini's commitment to creating a superior car, combining cutting-edge design, raw power, and unparalleled visual appeal, has since turned the competition green – even Ferrari, traditionally draped in red. Turning Weakness into Strength: Lamborghini's saga teaches us the power of transforming a competitor's weakness into a unique strength. In the face of adversity, Lamborghini defied expectations, leveraging an insult to fuel innovation and competition. Customer Relations Wisdom: The story also underscores the importance of treating every customer well. While not every customer may drive away in a Lamborghini, exceptional service can set your brand apart. 🚗💨 #SupercarShowdown #LamborghiniVsFerrari #InnovationInspiration #BusinessStrategy #CustomerFirst #CenturyofInsights 🌟

Modern rare cars come in many different types and characteristics, but they all have a limited number of units produced. Some are produced only for certain markets, while others are created for a limited number of customers. Some cars that have become rare over time, such as the Porsche 911 GT2 RS, Bugatti Chiron, Ferrari LaFerrari and McLaren P1, are produced in limited editions. The number of copies is usually several hundred or even tens. These cars have unique characteristics such as high speed, engine power, modern technology and exclusive design. There are also new car models that have already been released in limited quantities. One example is the Lamborghini Veneno, which was released in just five units in 2013. Each copy cost more than $4 million, and all of them were sold before production began. Another example is the Rolls-Royce Sweptail, which was custom-built for a wealthy client. This car was produced in a single copy and has a unique design and technology. There are also other rare cars such as the Aston Martin One-77, Koenigsegg Agera RS, Pagani Huayra BC, etc. All of them are produced in limited editions and have a high price. These cars are a symbol of status and luxury, and many people dream of owning at least one of them. #rarecars #limitededition #luxurycars #porsche911gt2rs #bugattichiron

For Sale: Yesterday’s comments of note: A few of the comments that stood out to us yesterday: "This looks like a very well done car. Wish I had the money and space for it. For those knocking this being converted to an EV, let's keep in mind that it is not like there aren't plenty of original 914's still out there to be had by anyone who wants one. And this wasn't a rare 914-6 that got "ruined". On the contrary, this looks like a very well done car all around. Still very much original looking, with just a newer drivetrain that probably vastly outperforms the original one. It is a…" 20 MWebb commented on Electric-Conversion 1973 Porsche 914 "Bringing back the 70’s with this build. We were inspired by the “Wild Hoss” Bronco model kit from AMT. We’re not aware if the real-life Bronco ever existed, so we decided to build the 1:1 scale" 10 VintageFierro commented on 1979 Ford Bronco Ranger XLT "When I was at Bertone in the early 70's they showed me the full size pre-production mockup for the Khamsin, the first production Maserati designed by Bertone. Somewhere I have photos of it and of the assembly and paint lines. At that time, Bertone was building the Alfa Montreal, Fiat X1-9, and Lamborghini Urracco as well as more common models. There was also a very interesting display of Bertone history in their reception area. Maybe I should find those images in my photograph cabinet..." 9 evans1 commented on 1977 Maserati Khamsin 5-Speed http://dlvr.it/T5mrrp Bringatrailer.com #carsofinstagram #carporn #classiccar
