Whether it's your personal brand, startup, or business, the only thing your logo needs to do is: ↳ Associate positively with your business ↳ Bridge your logo to your brand, product, and values 📌 Unless it's offensive, nobody cares about the design. Your logo needs to do one thing and one thing only: Identify your business. I know this sounds odd coming from someone who designs logos. But seriously, apart from your designer and yourself,  nobody cares about your logo's look. It’s all about what it represents. Here is the most common request I receive: “Can you make the logo bigger?” It’s often the very first thing people comment on once they see the designed draft. But here’s the thing: Websites aren’t ads. When someone lands on your site, they’re already there- they know who you are, they know you exist. Unlike an ad where a big logo grabs attention, websites are more about guiding users to what they’re looking for. Sure, your logo should be visible, but it doesn’t need to be the main event. It's about finding the right balance between showing off your brand and giving users space to breathe and navigate comfortably. So when clients ask for a bigger logo, I usually take a step back and explain why I intentionally made it the size I did. I've been sitting on this post since before Christmas... because I kept telling myself it needed to be 'perfect and polished' which is exactly what it shouldn't be!
