Funny (NOT) how, back in the day, fast-food restaurant/store retail staff jobs were considered "unstable." Now, people in the knowledge economy (work is all performed on computers) are not only laid off, but laid off 2-5 times in one year. And, fast-food/retail staff jobs are short on labor. Life is like that: What's up one day will be down the next and vice versa. No one's job is inherently "better" than someone else's. And, stay ready to get another job. Saving Managing Directors & Business Owners time, money and sanity ⭐ building elite teams to ensure your success 💥 with some fun and laughs along the way! 🍏
Picture this... You're stood at the bar... Ordering a nice cold beer🍺 But the Waitress/Waiter doesn't bring your drink over... But you notice them taking other drinks to other tables... When they turned up after you! 😠 You'd have to go and find out what's going on! The Waitress/Waiter tells you that these people paid more for their drinks... So this is why they received the faster service 😲 That's not right! So why do so many people think this is ok with recruitment? ❌ So many companies miss out on great candidates... Because there are other businesses that will pay a higher % placement fee... Which means they'll get sent the CV's first so they can pick their favourite 🤩 That means that all of the business who can't pay as much... Get put to the bottom of the queue... And that does NOT sit right with me! 😡 If you provide a service... EVERYONE should get the same service! This is why we don't do % fee's 🚫 There's so much negativity around them now... And we are a positive bunch 😁 That's why we have our time based model! 💎Every role is a priority 💎Everyone gets a top-notch service 💎Money saving 💎All clients are happy Would you be peeved off if this happened to you in a bar? #TimeBasedModel #Percentages #CustomerService

More Job Flow Doesn’t Always Mean More Cashflow Many recruitment business owners feel the pressure to accept every job that comes their way, believing that more job flow means more money flow. But that’s not always the case. Let me share a story to illustrate this: Imagine a top French restaurant in London. A regular customer calls to reserve a table and says, "I'd like to come in for Chinese." The maître d' responds, "We specialise in French cuisine, but we'll find a way to accommodate you." Shortly after, another call comes in, "I want to eat Indian tonight." The maître d' again says, "No problem, we'll make space for you." Now, the restaurant is packed. The chef and staff are scrambling to prepare dishes they're not equipped to make. Customers are waiting, complaining, and leaving dissatisfied. VIP guests wanting French cuisine are turned away, the staff is overwhelmed, and the restaurant’s reputation takes a hit. Sound crazy? Yet, this happens in recruitment businesses all the time. Taking on every job, regardless of whether it fits your speciality, can lead to burnout, lost revenue, and a damaged reputation. When you understand the true value of your niche services and have systems in place for high-value placements, saying “yes” to the right jobs becomes second nature. This leads to serving satisfied VIP clients, higher fees, a happier team, and true money flow. How To Say “No” To a Client… We’ve got a quick 5-minute masterclass on How to say “no” to a client (while keeping your integrity and the client relationship strong) If you want to get your hands on it, or you think your consultants could do with some help in this area, then drop us a “YES” below and we’ll send it over to you. #SelectiveRecruitment #QualityOverQuantity #NicheSuccess #CentredExcellence

Executive Recruitment | Headhunter | Food & Beverage | F&B Manufacturing | F&B Supply Chain | Airline Catering
Food and Beverage as well as other industries in the United Kingdom witnessed a substantial decrease in job vacancies from October to December 2023 compared to the same period in 2022. Here's what you need to know: - 🍽️ The Food Sector sees a 23.9% vacancy decline. Most positions are seasonal or part-time due to tight profit margins affected by external factors such as food prices and transportation costs. - 🚚 Transport/Storage roles decreased by 36.5%, with higher costs impacting job opportunities. - 🚀 Despite challenges, new business registrations offer a glimmer of future possibilities (8,000 registered businesses in 2023!) Stay optimistic and adaptable—the right opportunity could just be around the corner! Let's thrive together! 💪 #CareerOpportunities #FoodIndustry #OptimismInTheWorkplace

What led you to become a recruitment consultant? ✏️ Transitioning from a chef to a recruitment consultant may seem like a big leap, but for me, it was a natural progression. As a chef, I discovered my talent for recognising and nurturing potential in my team, whether it was a skilled chef or a talented waitress. This passion for talent development led me to a fulfilling career in recruitment. While the transition from culinary arts to recruitment was significant, I found that many of the skills I developed in the kitchen were transferable. The ability to excel under pressure, think quickly, and communicate effectively were valuable in both fields. However, what truly drew me to become a recruitment consultant was the opportunity to assist individuals in finding their ideal career paths and helping companies build strong, skilled teams. I am grateful for the journey that led me to this rewarding point in my career. It's a fulfilling role that allows me to positively influence both candidates and clients. #chef #recruitmentconsult #smallbusinessowner #newbusiness #recruitmentsupport #journey #qanda #gettoknowme #grateful #positivity #candidates #clients #careerpath #strong #skilled #team
