When we design and produce a new solution, the situation in which it is used is no longer the same. In fact, new solutions have new problems coming with them. Thinking about the consequences of our proposed solution is essential. Here's an story of a solution introduced by The Coca-Cola Company, which didn't work as expected. "New Coke" was introduced by The Coca-Cola Company in 1985. In an attempt to revitalize its brand and respond to market competition, Coca-Cola decided to reformulate its original soda recipe and launch a new product called "New Coke." However, this redesign turned out to be a poorly designed solution. The public response was overwhelmingly negative. Consumers had a strong attachment to the original Coca-Cola taste, and the introduction of New Coke led to widespread dissatisfaction and backlash. People protested, and there was a significant public outcry. As a result, Coca-Cola had to reintroduce the original formula as "Coca-Cola Classic" just a few months after launching New Coke.
