Welcome to the team, Thy Thy Nguyen! When asked why she chose a job with Colorado PERA, she said, “As a previous state employee, I was able to reap the benefits of being under a PERA covered state employer. The customer service that I received from PERA as a state employee was superb. Because of this I wanted to continue my HR career specifically in PERA. I also knew of other friends who have worked previously for PERA before, and their reviews of the company were wonderful.” Learn more about building a career at PERA: copera.org/careers

𝙈𝙚𝙚𝙩 𝙩𝙝𝙚 𝙩𝙚𝙖𝙢, 𝙢𝙚𝙚𝙩 𝙑𝙞𝙣𝙘𝙚𝙣𝙩 Vincent Van Der Wilk has been working at Royal Brinkman since 2011 as the Area Manager for Asia, Africa, and the Middle East. Let's have a chat with him. 𝙏𝙚𝙡𝙡 𝙢𝙚, 𝙬𝙝𝙤 𝙖𝙧𝙚 𝙮𝙤𝙪? I'm Vincent van der Wilk, I live in Naaldwijk with my girlfriend and 2 kids. 𝙒𝙝𝙖𝙩 𝙞𝙨 𝙖 𝙩𝙮𝙥𝙞𝙘𝙖𝙡 𝙍𝙤𝙮𝙖𝙡 𝘽𝙧𝙞𝙣𝙠𝙢𝙖𝙣 𝙙𝙖𝙮 𝙖𝙩 𝙩𝙝𝙚 𝙤𝙛𝙛𝙞𝙘𝙚 𝙛𝙤𝙧 𝙮𝙤𝙪? Every day is different because of the various countries and customers. Never boring, and there's always a suitable solution for everyone at all times. 𝙃𝙤𝙬 𝙬𝙤𝙪𝙡𝙙 𝙮𝙤𝙪 𝙙𝙚𝙨𝙘𝙧𝙞𝙗𝙚 𝙮𝙤𝙪𝙧 𝙧𝙤𝙡𝙚 𝙬𝙞𝙩𝙝𝙞𝙣 𝙩𝙝𝙚 𝙩𝙚𝙖𝙢? Together with my team, we are in the field of acquisition and customer management in Asia, Africa, and the Middle East 𝙃𝙤𝙬 𝙬𝙤𝙪𝙡𝙙 𝙮𝙤𝙪𝙧 𝙘𝙤𝙡𝙡𝙚𝙖𝙜𝙪𝙚𝙨 𝙙𝙚𝙨𝙘𝙧𝙞𝙗𝙚 𝙮𝙤𝙪? Friendly, helpful, reliable, and perhaps sometimes a bit too structured 😉 𝙒𝙝𝙖𝙩 𝙙𝙤 𝙮𝙤𝙪 𝙡𝙤𝙫𝙚 𝙖𝙗𝙤𝙪𝙩 𝙮𝙤𝙪𝙧 𝙟𝙤𝙗? I especially enjoy customer visits abroad. Building long-term relationships in a beautiful foreign environment. 𝙒𝙝𝙮 𝙙𝙞𝙙 𝙮𝙤𝙪 𝙢𝙖𝙠𝙚 𝙩𝙝𝙚 𝙘𝙝𝙤𝙞𝙘𝙚 𝙩𝙤 𝙨𝙚𝙧𝙫𝙚 𝙩𝙝𝙞𝙨 𝙢𝙖𝙧𝙠𝙚𝙩? I always wanted to work in an international environment. As a result I found a job at the international department of Royal Brinkman. Since I arrived I still enjoy going to my work every day. 𝙒𝙝𝙖𝙩 𝙞𝙨 𝙮𝙤𝙪𝙧 𝙛𝙖𝙫𝙤𝙧𝙞𝙩𝙚 𝙫𝙚𝙜𝙚𝙩𝙖𝙗𝙡𝙚 𝙖𝙣𝙙 𝙛𝙧𝙪𝙞𝙩? All types of fruit and vegetables. Traveling gives you the chance to eat some of the cuisine. I eat (almost) anything. 𝘿𝙤 𝙮𝙤𝙪 𝙝𝙖𝙫𝙚 𝙜𝙧𝙚𝙚𝙣 𝙛𝙞𝙣𝙜𝙚𝙧𝙨 𝙮𝙤𝙪𝙧𝙨𝙚𝙡𝙛? Honestly, not really. Every year we buy new plants for our backyard. Unfortunately, the majority of these ending up in the bin fairly quickly. Maybe someone can offer some practical tips 😉. #meettheteam #teamroyalbrinkman #royalbrinkman

During the very short dance of employment, we, the employees, move through our tasks, striving for excellence, knowing all too well that when the music stops, we'll bid our farewells. Whether it's with a farewell party or a parting gift, the rhythm of our departure plays out the same. Yet, this transience doesn't diminish the importance of giving our utmost every day, of dedicating ourselves fully to the company. However, we must remember that work is nothing but a vehicle, not the destination itself. We must immerse ourselves in our duties, not only for the sake of the company, but for our own growth and professionalism. Striving for personal excellence is not just a service to the employer but a fulfillment of self. And when our current role reaches its limits, we must seek new stages where challenges await, where we can continue to evolve and push our boundaries. In this journey, the paramount protagonist is ourselves, for in reaching our own limits, we open doors to new horizons, new opportunities, and new heights of personal and professional achievement.

#Christmas Celebration at Rigel Networks #The year gone by was a rollercoaster ride. From new beginnings to new projects, mishaps to detours, and in-office friendship to frenemies, it was a wild ride. The year coming on has a crucial impact on new objectives, goals, and accomplishments as the new year is the best time to take up new avenues. But every year comes with a glimmer of hope and optimism. #May excellent responsibilities come to you with awesome opportunities and a wide range of comforts to make your life grand in the coming New Year. Best wishes from my end!End-of-year reviews are not merely a box to check off the HR to-do list. They are also valuable opportunities to connect with your employees on a personal level, motivate them, and set the stage for a successful year ahead. #As a supervisor, it's your responsibility to approach these conversations with care, active listening, and empathy to create a motivating atmosphere. With these steps, you'll not only inspire your employees to be excited about the upcoming year but also create a positive and productive work culture that benefits everyone involved.

Amazing John Rason MA FCIPD Santa Fe Relocation! You've seen global mobility emerge and grow in the era of globalization following the "peace dividend" ending the Cold War and China's opening following Deng Xiaoping's reforms. Now, the question is: will you as well witness the end of global mobility as we've known it in a world, once again, dominated by nationalism and protectionism? I hope not and, in any case, I wish you all the best for the next 45 years of your career. I know you will remain relevant no matter what challenges global mobility will throw at you.
Well, despite the LinkedIn dates on my profile, today marks my 13th anniversary of joining Santa Fe Relocation. I have worked and continue to work with so many great people and clients, quite a few who have become personal friends too. As a young man in 1979, doing expatriate administration for Unilever plc, I really didn't expect to still be in the industry 45 years later. Not all international HR work in that time but most of the last 24 years. Time flies when you're interested in your work and I've learnt that you create your own destiny, helped by others along the way. I am still enjoying the buzz at Santa Fe Relocation and collaborating with colleagues, clients and external industry specialists.

Do you ever really thank your TEAM!? I'm not referring to the "Great job everyone! Well done", I'm talking about the End of year Christmas Party, where you let your hair down and give thanks to your work family. I learnt the importance of Christmas Party's during my years at Dan Murphy's. Christmas get togethers are important to for team bonding and morale building. Your team need to know their hard work is appreciated and it's also a great way for them to understand each person's contribution to the business, be thanked with awards and build new friendships. It's easy to get caught up in our colleagues' job titles and forget that they have their own unique stories. When you take the work title away, every person has their own individuality and a lot more to offer than just their job responsibilities. #PKVA #PKvirtualassistant #PKVAadmin #PKVAHR #businessprofessional #businesscommunity #businessmanagement #smallbusinessgrowth #tipsforbusiness #businesstipsandtricks #businessproductivity #onlinebusinesssupport #accountabilitypartner #growyourbusinessonline #businesstipsforsuccess #problemsolver #servicebasedbusiness #buildalifeyoulove #businesssupport #adminsupport
