I am thrilled to see some organizations still value celebrating their employees meaningfully and genuinely and, more importantly, share the celebrations and accomplishments for all of us to see. Check on the inclusive celebrations and recognition Valley Health System posted during their recent Go LIVE of their new hospital. They departed from the obligatory ribbon-cutting photo op with a few leaders. Instead, they actively rounded throughout their move, capturing all their teams working together on their highly successful move and sharing the journey for all to see. 🏆 Break from the sterile monotony of online meetings and celebrate and socialize with your team and those you serve. "That is not in the budget" is an unacceptable excuse. As a Servant Leader, you are responsible for being a cheerleader and strong advocate for your team. Find the funds and be creative, inclusive, and generous, or you will spend your budget on the revolving door of recruiting and training new hires. #PauseAndCelebrate #Pride #PayitForward #FunAtWork #ServantLeader #RewardsAndRecognition
Gratitude: it’s a critical part of our culture here at Hartford HealthCare! • Our colleagues assembled at our System Support Office for some perfectly-prepared pizza from our friends at New Haven Pizza Truck, and incredible ice cream from our friends at Blue Chip Creamery - to celebrate all of the amazing work they do to transform healthcare and making the care experience better for our patients and our communities. ❤️ • Check out some sights and sounds of this remarkable afternoon, featuring one of our graduate administrative interns Cameron Morosky, and our President & CEO Jeffrey Flaks. • To all of our colleagues, we are truly grateful and inspired by your commitment to improve the health and healing of the communities we serve. • #HartfordHealthCare #Community #Social #ColleagueAppreciation #Colleagues #Connecticut

This post is a great example of how organizations like Fever-Tree are recognizing the importance of employee well-being and the power of a holistic benefits package. By offering health, financial, and lifestyle perks, they are setting a new standard in employee care. This aligns perfectly with what we see in best-in-class employee vitality and cancer defense programs, where comprehensive support across stress management, nutrition, and preventive care are essential. At Tree of Life, we emphasize a complete lifestyle approach that helps employees improve their quality of life—whether they are navigating cancer or focusing on prevention. It’s not just about addressing health concerns; it’s about empowering employees to thrive at every phase, from diagnosis to survivorship and beyond. Rene Gruzdyte and the Fever-Tree team, kudos for elevating the standard of employee well-being! What other benefits do you believe would have a big impact on employee health and satisfaction? If you’re curious about how a wellness approach like Tree of Life’s can further enhance the well-being of your team, visit us at [our website](https://lnkd.in/d4xctuAD) to learn more.
Big news for our G&T drinkers out there… Fever-Tree has just launched Ben benefits to their UK employees! With a 200+ employees strong team, their award-winning mixers are sold globally and in some of the world’s top restaurants. They’re on a mission to bring quality, flavour, and choice back to mixers — and now to their benefits, too! Here’s how they’ll be rewarding their UK team through Ben… all in one place! → Health and wellbeing benefits: PMI, eyecare vouchers, gym discounts, EAP and more. → Financial benefits: Enhanced pension, insurances (life, critical illness, income etc), SAYE, and more. → Travel benefits: Cycle to work scheme, Electric vehicle scheme and season ticket loans! → This is all alongside amazing office perks like hobby clubs and, obviously, a well-stocked bar. 🍸 Huge shoutout to Rene Gruzdyte — it's been awesome working together to design your team's benefits offering!

Welcome to our new Spotlight Series! In this series we'll be introducing you to some Advantaged Thinking Champions – individuals who are advocates for Advantaged Thinking and apply its principles on a daily basis 🤩 First up we have the Advantaged ThinKERS at Aberdeen Foyer, a working group formed by staff volunteers and soon to open to the Foyer staff and participants. The Advantaged ThinKERS are spearheading an initiative to improve the Foyer's practice by extending Advantaged Thinking beyond its housing services and across the organisation as a whole. The group has developed a theory of change to help spotlight organisational strengths and inspire staff to build on Advantaged Thinking approaches in their practice. By reflecting on existing Advantaged Thinking practices and fostering cross-team sharing, the Advantaged ThinKERS facilitate a seamless integration of new ideas whilst pinpointing areas that require additional work. Motivated by a commitment to make the learning experience as enjoyable as possible, the team at Aberdeen Foyer employs an innovative and strategic approach to encourage continuous reflection among staff. Here at the Foyer Federation, we think that the Advantaged ThinKERS are great role models for other staff thinking about embedding Advantaged Thinking in their organisation! If you're interested in finding out more about Aberdeen Foyer's Advantaged Thinking journey so far, you can do so in this blog post from August: https://lnkd.in/eRH2vJ7n. #advantagedthinking #aberdeenfoyer

It is estimated that the average person will spend one-third of their life at work. That is roughly 90,000 hours at work over your lifetime. Knowing this, there are two things you should always focus on when it comes to work and your career. You have to love what you do and really enjoy and care about the people you work with. When I read this quote I realize how fortunate I am to be working at Catapult Health.

In stewarding this process with my colleagues, it has cemented my belief in blending theory + with existing practice + introduction of innovative ideas to facilitate an organizational cultural change. In addition, it supports peer learning whilst strengthening the links between programs. This approach can be used to reflect as an organization on other frameworks and value systems. #organizationaldevelopment #organisationalculture #changemanagement #organisationaldevelopment #organizationalreflection #reflectivepractice #strenghbaseddevelopment #advantagedthinking

Dr. Pearl McElfish, Director of UAMS’s Institute for Community Health Innovation, dropped some great leadership nuggets at the Springdale Chamber’s Women’s Networking Luncheon. She encouraged us to: 1)Discover your superpower and spend the majority of your time doing that. 2)Prioritize what is most important right now and help your team prioritize. 3)Speak the truth and develop a culture where your team speaks the truth. 4)Don’t wait for the good stuff. Build it in everyday.
