Inspire Study seeking participants: Emory researchers are currently partnering with Georgia assisted living communities and caregivers of residents with dementia to learn about their experiences. Assisted living professionals and caregivers' insights are invaluable for better understanding the caregiver experience and this study may contribute to a positive impact on quality of life for assisted living residents. Eligible participants take part in phone or zoom interviews to share their experiences. Their presentation titled "A2: Changing the Face of Problem Solving in Dementia Care" discussed innovative care practices and programs designed to help change the conversation around dementia care. During the presentation, Ann and Stacey instructed the participants — including leaders and program staff from multiple Life Plan communities and related service providers — on the following: ✅ How the strongest dementia care neighborhoods and programs can grow from natural leaders. ✅ How to create innovative programs and break down barriers. ✅ Examples of innovative programs and the journey to developing them and "thinking bigger."
