Everyone should know and experience that you are never alone. “I am also a human, loved and respected in my Community” is the beautiful lesson from Agnes that came out from a touching Learn Visit to her and her community. When she thought she was alone, living with Albinism in a community in Uganda, a peer from Albinism Umbrella reached out to her. Then, strengthened by the fact that she was no longer alone she grew out to be a connector and a much loved and respected member of her community. This Learn visit was done in the context of the Linking and Learning process for Voice multicountry grantees. Albinism Umbrella was hosting the event, and Eunice and Arthur (SALTy Link and Learn facilitators) supported the exchanges. Learning good character involves a combination of self-reflection, education, and practice.
