Sales is still The King ! Recently I closed a #SalesDirector role with One of my Clients in the ID Verification space. Here's what I learnt- 1- Sales professionals are #paidhandsomely, came across several individuals who were getting paid even better than what an IITian in SD gets paid with the same years of experience. 8 Years/ 50 LPA Fixed + 40% PLI. Please note, that they were not at all from Tier 1 institutes. 2- They get better #Thrills in their job, driven by Uncertainty and Variety, Competitive Environment, Negotiation Dynamics, Financial Rewards, Continuous Learning and Impact & Influence. The unpredictability of sales keeps professionals on their toes and adds excitement to the process. 3- Good Sales leaders enjoy #Autonomy and #Independence. Sales roles often provide a level of autonomy and independence, allowing individuals to manage their time, prioritize tasks, and make decisions to drive results.
