CX Day 2023 has been and gone and there were some great webinars and events that were on offer for CX practitioners. Congratulations to all those who took it upon themselves to organise such events. These events help CX practitioners to learn from each other and to expand their networks, both really important elements in our profession. One question, out of interest: Did anyone organise any events or a CX day initiative that benefitted their customers? It would be interesting to know! #CX #CXday #Customerrelations

Although we posted this conversation on #CXFiles with Andreas Helland with the main focus on delivering CX to the Nordics from Spain, there is also a very interesting conversation about how people working in contact centres should be treated. If you build a corporate culture that welcomes people into the team and gives them a pathway to improvement then they will naturally do a better job and if they are on customer calls then this will be noticed as a better customer experience. Treat people as replaceable and temporary then all they are ever going to do is watch the clock during a shift... It was a fiesta of ideas, innovation, and insights that brought together thought leaders, executives, and experts in customer experience (CX) from across EMEA. Here's a quick toast to our incredible hosts, Andrea Morán Arnedo and everyone at Santander, for their warm hospitality and to the NPSx℠ planning team — Catarina Paiva Lambranho, Tara Boone (Kroeger), Hannah Parkin, and Raashi Banka - for pulling off such a stellar event. And hats off to Kirstin Simons for emceeing the event. 🌟 Highlights & Impact from our time together: 🌠 Idea Exchange: The ongoing dialogue across panels, breakouts, and social sessions is a vital part of any Forum meeting. In Madrid, attendees unveiled real-world applications of global CX strategies and digital transformations, showcasing how traditional and tech-driven companies alike are navigating the CX landscape. 🌠 Experience Sharing: The wide range of industries, company size, regions, B2B and B2C organizations (and more!) in attendance provided a diverse group of leaders that exposed insights and new viewpoints on strategy. 🌠 Innovation in the Third Wave of CX: Stanford Swinton's exploration of predictive analytics as a cornerstone of the third wave of CX emphasized the necessity of forward-thinking in the digital era, where data-driven decisions are paramount. And with so many sectors represented at the Forum, from fast food to automotive, we see the universal relevance of innovative strategies and demand for leveraging predictive analytics for CX. As we bid adiós to Madrid and gear up for Philly in April (hosted by our friends at Comcast), we're reminded of how these exchanges shape our collective approaches and strategies as CX leaders, pushing us to think bigger and do better.
