Great session on talent & overall strategies for post M&A success. What an awesome panel breakfast put on by the Technology Association of Georgia and The Association for Corporate Growth (ACG) at M&A South. Key points: . Planning early is key - including for culture and fit . The deal thesis is key - if it doesn't hold up in the planning and initial execution, step back . Communications transparency is key . Determining who the lead is (usually the acquirers) and being honest about it to yourselves and others is critical . Engaging people from both sides early is mission critical, especially if you want to achieve the synergies that supported the deal premium .
