What does AmeriCorps Cape Cod do in August with no members? 🤔 ACC Staff usually has about four weeks to turn the program on its head to get ready for the new group! This includes end-of-year tasks like cleaning the program residences, monitoring the vehicles, and finishing off recruitment. After the new staff has arrived, objectives switch to training and prepping for member arrival, but they still find time for fun! Photos from a new art installation at the Route 6 Yarmouth Rest Area (artist Sarah Thornington and CARE for the Cape & Islands, Inc) and their meeting with CEO of AmeriCorps Michael Smith on Martha's Vineyard. Countdown to member move-in is 7️⃣days! #GettingThingsDone #Year26Incoming

I started Camp Patriot at Stevenson High School in 2018 with the goal of (again) putting together a camp program that I can be proud of. We focus on building community, trying new things, and focusing on growth. It sounds like families are happy with us, too. Camp ‘24 ended on Friday and, as of today, we’re 50% full for summer of ‘25.
