Net Promoter Scores or NPS measures the loyalty of customers to a company and the higher the score the better, especially against their peers and competition. Franchise companies may also do an annual survey to measure year over year franchisee satisfaction. In your investigation of franchise businesses, ask about the franchise company's satisfaction approval rates year over year and ask about how they use technology to provide better support to their franchisee and the franchisees customers. How much a franchise company invests in their franchisees success is a great comparison tool when looking at different franchise options. Consider This: 💠 Yearly Satisfaction Comparison Reports: Assess Customer and Franchisee satisfaction using Net Promoter Scores (NPS) to track loyalty trends over time and ask if they do franchisee satisfaction surveys. And ask how often and if done by a third party company. 💠 Technology Integration: Explore how franchise companies utilize technology to enhance support for both franchisees and customers. I.E., do they invest back into the business for continuous improvement. 💡 Industry Insights: The Telecommunications industry, including Communications Service Providers (CSPs), historically struggle with customer service, reflected in a low NPS of 31, ranking 14th out of 20 industries. 📖 Case Study: Telefonica, a CSP based in Madrid, employs AI, machine learning, and voice recognition technologies to tackle billing and technical issues. If the virtual agent fails to resolve an issue, it's escalated to a human agent for resolution. Telefonica can gauge success through their NPS, indicating customer satisfaction approval rates improving or declining. Narrowing your search as I do to your top 3 franchise options is just the beginning. You still need to investigate each company and decide on your best option.
