NATIONAL BIOLOGIC COORDINATORS DAY Biologic coordinators are some of the most important advocates for patients in healthcare—yet too often, their work goes unrecognized. That's why, on November 1, National Biologic Coordinators Day will recognize the daily commitment of biologic coordinators everywhere. Biologic therapy can be an important treatment option for patients. However, obtaining access to these treatments can be challenging, and patients often need help navigating the process. That's where biologic coordinators come in. A biologic coordinator is a key member of a medical practice’s office staff. They can be a doctor, nurse, physician’s assistant, medical assistant, or an office/practice manager. These individuals help patients navigate the sometimes arduous and complex process of obtaining access to prescribed biologic medications. #NationalBiologicCoordinatorsDay

🌟 At PrivéCareRx Boutique Pharmacy, the amazing details of our future may be uncertain, but our commitment remains steadfast: to serve every patient intentionally and consistently. 🌟In our team philosophy, one phrase reigns supreme: "We don’t change who we are at our core, even throughout the toughest interactions. We serve." 🛡️ The incredible, selfless, happy, and warm-hearted pharmacy technicians at PrivéCareRx were handpicked based on their demonstrated dedication to service long before our doors opened. Their commitment to caring for patients is unwavering. 💊What does intentional service look like to us? 🎯 1. It means actively seeking opportunities to serve our patients, integrating the word 'serve' into our conversations, and finding purpose in every patient encounter. 2. It means aiming to exceed service expectations, focusing on what patients express or imply they need. 3. It means expressing gratitude to patients for trusting us with their care. 4. It means inviting patients to share how we can serve better. 5. It means putting patients first and remembering we prayed for this. Our demeanor—tone, gaze, touch, and smile—reflects our presence and eagerness to serve. These details, honed through experience, are driven by the sincerity of our hearts. 💜 At PrivéCareRx Boutique Pharmacy, service isn't just a duty; it's a pleasure. We serve joyfully, knowing that each interaction is an opportunity to bless someone else. 💫 #ServeIntentionally #PatientCare #PharmacyLife #PrivéCareRx #BoutiquePharmacy #CoralGablesFL🌟

Breaking the Mold: The Unchartered Territory of Pharmacy Technicians Imagine working frontline healthcare, but the spotlight seldom finds you. Welcome to the life of a Pharmacy Technician. Who, you ask? Exactly! A shift is due, amplifying roles far from the humdrum of pill-counting. Picture this - technicians are patient-facing, counseling on medication usage, doubling as sentinel to spot harmful drug interactions. An unexpected lidocaine-epi prescription for a patient with heart disease? They catch it first. In this parallel universe, technicians transform into nutrition guides, helping patients connect the dots between their Lipitor prescription and lower cholesterol through diet. Health outcomes? Skyrocketing. Does this take a load off the pharmacist? You bet. Pharmacists diversify to clinical responsibilities. A dream? No, this is a possible reality where technicians aren't just acknowledged but celebrated for their contributions. A world we can co-create. Time to shake things up. How do we redefine the technician's role? Chime in with your insights and let's map the future of healthcare together.
