Food for Thought for CA students seeking internships- Since it is the time when you select a domain to start your practical exposure with, never make prenotions about any division/area. Before applying anywhere, I’d recommend to seek a guidance from your mentors, who can walk you through a but about each domain and do talk about your areas of interest, so a recruiter can guide you better. Switching profiles later is not easy! Choose wisely!

Graduate From Goldsmiths University of London and currently a postgraduate student at King's College London. Looking for more opportunities!
Internship for Finance, Professional Services and Consulting with Bright Network Day 3: Today’s session was a lot more independant compared to the previous couple of days. We were tasked to complete a work sample set by Fareeha Adnan an audit from PwC 😮. This work sample gave us a fictional client who sells foods that are locally homegrown and we would complete various tasks for the client. This was a very intriguing task because it gave us an idea on an audit’s role for a client. We used various methods of analysis such as the PESTLE analysis which identifies various different factors that could affect the client along with analysing the finances with materiality and the client’s stock count. 🔢 Using all of this data gathered for the client we then had to provide a clearance agenda and provide an auditors opinion based on the information gathered. I absolutely LOVED this task because there were various different ways and methods of gathering information about the client and I saw that this correlated heavily with my degree in economics as I could interpret both qualitative and quantitative data with my own recommendation! 🤩🤩🤩 It’s a shame that tommorow is the last day of the internship because I have absolutely loved this experience and don’t want it to end 😭 Can’t wait for Day 4 tommorow! #Pwc #BrightNetwork #internship #audit #PESTLE

It was a great beginning of IEUK virtual internship experience programme hosted by Bright Network Really huge thanks to Philip Yarrow and James Uffindell for this opportunity. Key speakers and some takeaways It was really great hearing from Ajay Kabra - a partner in Audit from PwC, talking about his career journey looking for a global exposure which made him apply to the firm. He also spoke about the importance of staying true to oneself and this makes us unique in our own way Joao Martin from Deloitte talked about the core skills that is needed for aspiring leaders. Which includes Communication, Time management, Accountability, Problem solving and Collaboration It was also great listening to Rachel Gbogbo-Morthy Goke solanke Alicia Thomas Jonhson adeyanju Conrad Essilfie-Conduah and Mahari Hay speaking about black diversity in professions and some challenges that come up and how to overcome it. Collectively, I enjoyed the session because it was really welcoming and the conversation was relatable, talking about imposter syndrome. Charlotte Sangster from PwC UK discussed about building a personal brand. Her discussion was very informative and I learnt the importance of showing one's value through my brand. She further talks about the mistakes that are often made which could possibly impact one's network. It can be little things like posting offensive content on social media, having poor communication skills in a professional environment and showcasing poor integrity or being unprofessional by showing up late to work or missing deadlines. Hearing her discussions made me realise the importance of self-reflection. Overall, this experience is very insightful and I am looking forward to the next few days of the internship. #student #internship #experience #networking

"Knowing is not enough; we must apply. Willing is not enough; we must do." - Johann Wolfgang von Goethe I'm thrilled to share the culmination of my Finance Internship at ZSRP FINANCIAL SERVICES LLP, where over a fulfilling two-month period, I immersed myself in a diverse range of experiences. These experiences significantly deepened my understanding of various facets including stock market research, trading strategies, investment analysis, data analytics, bookkeeping practices, and financial transaction assessments. This internship provided a unique opportunity to bridge theory with practical application, allowing me to effectively utilize newly acquired skills. As a result, my proficiency in financial matters has grown, enabling me to offer more nuanced perspectives when evaluating and contributing to business strategies. I extend my heartfelt appreciation to Mr. Shubham Bansal and Mr. Ankit Gupta for their invaluable support and guidance throughout my internship journey. Excited to leverage these experiences and insights! #FinanceInternship #PracticalLearning #Trading #ProfessionalDevelopment #HandsOnExperience #TheoryToPractice #Gratitude #CareerGrowth
