🎆 Ready for the 4th of July Fireworks? 🎇 As we gear up for the fireworks and festivities, let's remember safety is key to enjoying the 4th of July! If possible, attending professional shows is the safest way to enjoy the fireworks, as professionals ensure a spectacular and secure display. If you're planning to light fireworks at home, here are essential safety tips to keep your celebration fun and safe: ❌ No Kids Allowed: Never let small children handle fireworks. ↗️ Point Away: Always aim fireworks away from people, animals, vehicles, and buildings. 🥽 Protect Your Eyes: Anyone lighting fireworks should wear eye protection. 👆 One at a Time: Only light one firework at a time and never try to relight 'duds.' 💦 Be Prepared: Keep water nearby as a precaution. A bucket or hose can be a game-changer in an emergency. Celebrate safely this Independence Day! Enjoy the fireworks, but remember, safety is essential to keep the fun going. #FireworksSafety #IndependenceDay #TridentEMS #safetytip

Creative Director for Iconic Children’s Brands | Toys & Themed Entertainment | Previously Creative Director @ Sesame Workshop
CONCEPTUAL PROCESS: YIP YIP SOUVENIR PUPPET for SEAWORLD PARKS The souvenir product collections at Sesame’s domestic and international parks are robust and always changing — guests find something new to buy on each visit. Each year, Sesame Place Philadelphia, Sesame Place San Diego and the SeaWorld parks develop one nostalgia character for their line of basic plush. Sesame Street’s Yip Yip Martians are a fan favorite, so were a perfect addition. Because of the unique personality and physical structure of these Muppets on the show, I thought they lent themselves to both a plush and working puppet format, for extra playability. Everyone can say “yip yip yip!” Drawing on my puppet-building experience, I created diagrams, suggestions and even patterns for the tentacles. The Yip Yip Martian puppets were very popular and sold out. Definitely one of my favorite Sesame Workshop products. Wish we could have done a collection in different colors!

As we gear up for the next few days of celebrating, let's make sure we keep safety a top priority. We often see many accidents this time of year (and maybe one too many missing limbs 😖) so let’s do our part to stay safe: 💥 Always stay at least 500 feet away from fireworks displays and never allow children to handle fireworks. 💥 Have a bucket of water or a hose ready in case of an emergency. It's always better to be prepared! 💥 Read and follow all safety instructions on the fireworks packaging. If a firework doesn’t go off, don’t try to relight it—douse it with water instead. 💥 Avoid alcohol when handling fireworks to ensure you’re alert and making safe choices. Let's make this celebration memorable for all the right reasons! Stay safe and have a fun!

🎆✨ Stay Safe This 4th of July with These Firework Safety Tips! ✨🎆 As we gear up to celebrate Independence Day with spectacular fireworks, let's ensure we do it safely. Here are some essential firework safety tips to keep you and your loved ones safe: Follow Local Laws: Make sure fireworks are legal in your area before purchasing or using them. Keep a Safe Distance: Always light fireworks outdoors in a clear area away from buildings, vehicles, and flammable materials. Maintain a safe distance from the fireworks after lighting them. Supervise Children: Never let children handle fireworks. Sparklers may seem safe, but they can burn at temperatures of around 2,000 degrees! Use a Lighter or Torch: Light fireworks one at a time and use a long lighter or torch to keep a safe distance. Keep Water Nearby: Have a bucket of water or a hose ready in case of fire or mishaps. Douse used fireworks with water before discarding them. Avoid Relighting Duds: If a firework doesn’t ignite, don’t try to relight it. Wait 20 minutes, then soak it in water before disposing of it. Protect Your Pets: Fireworks can be distressing for pets. Keep them indoors and in a safe, comfortable environment during fireworks displays. Let’s make this 4th of July a memorable and safe celebration for everyone. Enjoy the festivities responsibly! #FireworkSafety #4thOfJuly #StaySafe #IndependenceDay #CelebrateResponsibly #SafetyFirst

Illegal fireworks are unpredictable and dangerous! 🎆🚫 Adult Supervision: Fireworks are not toys. Always have a responsible adult handle and light them. Kids can enjoy the show from a safe distance! 👨👩👦 Water, Water Everywhere: Keep a bucket of water or a garden hose handy. Fireworks can cause accidental fires, and it's better to be prepared! 💧🚒 Keep Your Distance: Light fireworks one at a time, then back up to a safe distance immediately. Never point or throw fireworks at anyone. 🔥➡️👥 Pet Safety: Our furry friends can get scared by loud noises. Keep them indoors and comfortable. 🐶🐱 Disposal: Soak used fireworks in water before disposing of them in a metal trash can. As we get ready to celebrate our nation's independence with family, friends, and fireworks, let's keep safety a top priority. Here are a few tips to ensure a fun and safe holiday: 1) Fireworks Safety: Only use fireworks that are legal in your area. Always light them one at a time and never relight a dud. Keep a bucket of water or a garden hose nearby. 2) Grill Safety: Keep your grill at least 10 feet away from your house, deck railings, and out from under eaves and overhanging branches. Never leave the grill unattended, and ensure the grill lid is open when lighting it. 3) Pet Safety: Keep pets indoors during fireworks. The loud noises can be terrifying for them. Ensure they have a safe, quiet space to retreat to. 4) Water Safety: If you're hitting the pool, lake, or beach, make sure everyone knows how to swim and keep an eye on children at all times. Never swim alone and be aware of local water conditions. Enjoy the festivities and have a fantastic 4th of July! Stay safe, everyone!
